Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Ottawa

I was beyond happy and excited about staying here and even more happy how it turned out it was everything we hoped and expected . Joel was amazing at communicating. He even has a Christmas tree and lights up that had us feel even more like at home and festive for the occasion .

Ted is an outstanding host! Every question I had he responded quickly. He was very friendly and his communication was great. I would definitely recommend Ted and his place. The place was clean and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had an excellent stay at Tania's bungalow! It has a perfect location, extremely close to Starved Rock State Park & also close to local restaurants & shops. The bungalow was exactly as described & exceptionally clean. It's welcoming, warm, & cozy. We also loved that it was pet friendly & had an enclosed yard for our dog. The neighborhood was quiet & well kept. Tania was very responsive, friendly & helpful with any questions we had. We will definitely stay here again!

We ended up having to leave early into our stay, but first impressions were great, hosts were responsive, and us and our dogs had a good time! Nice to find a clean, quiet place that excepts our 2 big dogs 😊

Beautiful place! Met a business colleague for a meeting. The open floor plan made it easy to put up our white board along with printer and all the other stuff we needed. Wifi was super fast. House was tidy and spotless. Many amenities I don't see in other places. A well deserved 5 star for sure. I plan on staying again when I'm in the area. Thanks for a good stay!

We had a fantastic stay at Jane’s house. She was very communicative. The house was just as listed, and it was a bonus that we could bring our dog! The house was clean and very nicely decorated. We would stay there again!

Clean, spacious home close to restaurants and shops in Ottawa. Quiet residential neighborhood. We enjoyed walking to downtown for dinner in the evenings after each day of hiking in the nearby state parks. Hosts were friendly and helpful.

Beautiful views, great layout, and extremely dog friendly with nice touches make this place stand out! Very close to all the state parks in the area, but there’s plenty to do on site as well. Check in was seamless, we had clear instructions throughout, and the place was perfect!

A few set back with our first house. We were quickly offered and moved to a different house. The team was very responsive and helpful for everything! We had a wonderful stay!

Perfect place. Everyone had their own private place when needed. Accommodation were great . Everything we needed was there . Enjoyed games. Nice location for shopping .

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is in a quiet, pet friendly neighborhood with lovely views of the river. Everything we needed was provided and we liked the layout of the house. Regarding sleeping accommodations, there are beds for 6 people (2 queens with twin bunks above each) and additional sleeping options are provided via a pull-out sofa and 2 futons.

We come from Chicago a couple times a year to hike at Starved Rock, Matthiesen, etc, so we thought we would try staying for a full weekend. This place was the perfect fit. It was pet friendly, so our dog could come along, and it had great amenities at the resort. The staff was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

Lovely place. It was clean, had comfortable beds, and well stocked kitchen. It’s also a short, easy drive to starved rock state park.

Plenty room for our family of 5, and two dogs. They even had a large kennel for the dogs. Easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. The beds were comfortable, heat was amazing -- very comfortable stay that felt like home. Any time I had a question, we got a quick response. We were visiting family in area and have stayed in several nightly rentals over the years. We hope this house will be available on our next stay.

We were completely satisfied with the rental. Would definately book it again. The only one that had any issues was our Golden Retriever who would walk up to the fence and sit and stare at the cows....then spring to life in a fit of barking at them as they moo'ed back at her while furiously wagging her tail. 😅. She loved it too.

Elaine's house was perfect for a place to stay while hiking at Starved Rock and Matthiessen State Parks. It was warm and cozy, had everything we needed, and was in a great location. She was a thoughtful and responsive host!

Joe was a great host. We made our reservation last minute on Christmas Eve and Joe was very accommodating, helpful, and responsive. The huge bathtub with jets was a nice surprise!

Celebrated my son's 16th birthday with my husband and 2 nephews and this home exceeded my expectations. There is so much to do. Fun for all ages. Theresa has gone above and beyond hosting her home. The best part of all is that the boys' did not look at their phones. Teenagers have a hard time not looking at their notifications and social media, but having all the fun activities and amazing props, etc., the boys' were just engaged in fun and that is why you should book a trip to this house with your family.
