Ted is an outstanding host! Every question I had he responded quickly. He was very friendly and his communication was great. I would definitely recommend Ted and his place. The place was clean and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Bungalow! Tania was very proactive giving clear instructions and even shared local recommendations which we tried out and were great (shoutout Millstone bakery)! We especially enjoyed the fire-pit in the backyard. The couches were also super comfy and cozy! Had everything we needed for a starved rock weekend getaway :)

My dogs loved running around in the massive fully fenced yard! The fence is 6’ tall which made me feel a lot safer letting them out as the property is right off a 2 lane highway. There is a little road noise (mostly trucks) but it’s surprisingly not too bad. Easy drive to LaSalle, Peru, Utica, and Oglesby and was very clean.

We ended up having to leave early into our stay, but first impressions were great, hosts were responsive, and us and our dogs had a good time! Nice to find a clean, quiet place that excepts our 2 big dogs 😊

Clean, spacious home close to restaurants and shops in Ottawa. Quiet residential neighborhood. We enjoyed walking to downtown for dinner in the evenings after each day of hiking in the nearby state parks. Hosts were friendly and helpful.

Stayed for two nights with 7 adults and one toddler. Everyone loved the pool table, arcade machine and tv selection. Good location, lovely older home.

We come from Chicago a couple times a year to hike at Starved Rock, Matthiesen, etc, so we thought we would try staying for a full weekend. This place was the perfect fit. It was pet friendly, so our dog could come along, and it had great amenities at the resort. The staff was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

This is a lovely little home conveniently located within a few minutes of downtown and not too far from hiking in the state parks. The home is clean and comfortable with all of the kitchen amenities needed. Highly recommend!

Nice Convenient Stay Great For Anyone With Animals

We were completely satisfied with the rental. Would definately book it again. The only one that had any issues was our Golden Retriever who would walk up to the fence and sit and stare at the cows....then spring to life in a fit of barking at them as they moo'ed back at her while furiously wagging her tail. 😅. She loved it too.

We had a wonderful stay…had plenty of room and the fenced yard with patio/deck was great for our dogs! We visited/hiked the 3 State Parks and enjoyed relaxing at the house.

This was my first Airbnb booking. It was a great location for us since our activities were in Oglesby. The place was the perfect size and my dog enjoyed running. Everything was just perfect. I highly recommend.

The house is an 50s/60s rambler in a nice residential neighborhood and it's been very nicely updated. It has a well-stocked kitchen and bathrooms, new appliances, comfortable beds, extra linens and blankets. The two game rooms in the basement and garage are over the top. The "dining room" is in a heated 4 season porch which makes a great place for a meal. The outdoor seating area looked cozy but we didn't use it due to the weather. All-in-all, it's an excellent place for our group and we'll be back next year.

I cannot recommend Elaine's place enough! The kitchen is well-appointed with top of the line appliances and everything else from the linens, to the floors, to the number of towels available is absolutely pristine and well thought out. Guests are treated to a number of thoughtful touches like a fun selection of vinyl records, cookbooks, games, interesting art work and much more. I would definitely stay here again and I encourage others to do the same.
