🦌 Wildlife & Nature
One of the best parts of staying here is being surrounded by the beauty of the White Mountains. You may spot deer, turkeys, chipmunks, or even the occasional fox right from the deck!
Because we’re truly in nature, some wildlife occasionally finds its way indoors, too. We take every precaution to keep them outside where they belong, but visitors may occasionally notice a stray bug or two.
Ladybug season in particular is in the fall, and this region is famous for its abundance of them. You might see some of our cute friends wonder inside during that time of the year—they’re harmless and considered a sign of good luck! We do our best to manage them, but please know this is a normal part of mountain life.
