Sweet Pea & Sunshine offers a luxurious semi-soundfront property right in the heart of Kill Devil Hills. We are a pet-friendly, two-level home that sleeps 10, so feel free to spread out with 4 king beds, 2 twin beds in an upstairs flex room, 3.5 baths, and a peaceful, screened-in solarium. Whether you take advantage of Bay Drive’s multi-use path, spend the day at the beach, or enjoy kayaking, bay access is right across the street, and the beach is less than four minutes away.

The space
Our spacious and contemporary open floor plan downstairs offers two king en-suite bedrooms and one bonus king room. Everyone is within close proximity to the living room, sunroom, and full kitchen. Just up the stairs, we have a king bedroom and full bath, along with a bonus family room offering a twin trundle for two additional sleeping options. Fresh towels, linens, and various bathroom, kitchen, and laundry supplies are provided, with a full washer and dryer available for use. Infant and toddler supplies are also available upon request.

Feel free to park your car or stow your beach toys in the easily accessible garage. Our driveway also provides plenty of parking for additional vehicles. Once you’ve settled in, take advantage of our full kitchen or grab a bar stool and relax. Additionally, we have a dining room area ideal for family meals or rainy-day game nights. After dinner, relax on the large sectional couch in the downstairs living room or enjoy the bay breeze out on the fully screened-in sunroom; there’s no need to worry about bad weather or insects as you sip on your glass of wine. During your stay, don’t forget to take in a beautiful bay sunset right from the front porch or enjoy the bay on a nighttime stroll or bike ride.

Just as a reminder: A pet fee of $100 is added to your overall stay when bringing furry family and friends.

Also, while we know accidents do happen, any damage to the house and/or property may require an additional charge to your booking upon checkout. Lastly, while we are a smoke and vape-free house, we also ask you to avoid doing either in the solarium.

While you explore all Kill Devil Hills has to offer, make sure you visit Jockey’s Ridge and the Wright Brothers Memorial just down the road. Enjoy the back 9 on one of the many golf courses in the area, or have a family-friendly putt-putt competition just three minutes away. After visiting the local shops and seasonal farmers markets, you’re minutes away from some of the best restaurants in the OBX. Distilleries, late-night dining, and ghost tours are all close by for those who don’t want the fun to continue into the night.
