Songbird Studio VT is a cozy, romantic tiny cabin designed intentionally for couples seeking peace, nature, and connection. Originally a recording studio, this thoughtfully renovated retreat offers a quiet, intimate escape that feels worlds away, yet close to Vermont’s best adventures. Nestled on Lake Eden with easy access to Stowe, Jay Peak & NEK adventures.
The space
The studio is a standalone 400 sq. foot guesthouse/tiny cabin tucked away on the backside of Lake Eden, a quiet rural town perfect for a peaceful getaway.
The Bed
-Queen-sized Bear mattress (Non-toxic, certified clean mattress- made in America)
-400 thread count cotton sheet
WiFi
- Up to 400 mbps high-speed wireless internet
Kitchen
- Well equipped kitchen w/ stainless steel appliances
- Reverse Osmosis filtered tap (studio is on well water)
- Sink, stove/oven, microwave, toaster & full sized fridge
- Oil, vinegar & essential spices
Coffee
- Coffee maker
- French Press
- Maki espresso maker, and milk frother.
- Electric coffee grinder

- Small, stall shower

You have access to the studio, your own private lakeview deck, & lakefront area.
Other things to note
No Pets Allowed
A dog lives at the property next door. You may hear her bark in host's fenced-in yard next door.
Best for:
Comfortably houses two people. Not suitable for small children nor animals.
Shared Space:
The Songbird Studio VT has a shared driveway with the main house which is approx. 150 ft from the studio. There is space for up to two cars.
Lake Access:
The studio is all on one level but there is one step on the porch. In order to access the lake you need to go down two flights of stairs.
Internet:
The Wifi is usually more than enough to stream (up to 400 Mbps), but this is a rural area so it cannot be guaranteed.
Cell Service:
There is a cell tower at the end of the road. Service can be spotty throughout Vermont, depending on your service provider. Turning on WiFi calling is recommended at the studio. Downloading Offline maps is recommended for getting around.
Road:
The studio is about a ½ mile down a dirt road; winter tires or traction tires are recommended during the snowy months.
Early/Late check-in/out:
During the high season (summer & fall) we are not able to offer early check-in/late check-out.
**Booking Info: Our insurance requires a signed rental agreement with id to finalize your booking. The Rental Agreement & Amenities Waiver simply outlines important details like waterfront and kayak access, safety guidelines, damages, and cancellation terms — everything to ensure a smooth and relaxing stay for everyone.
