Tucked just steps from the serene Robinson Pond, this cozy and comfortable Hudson Valley/Berkshires retreat is the perfect spot to relax, recharge, or work remotely—just 100 miles from Manhattan and 150 miles from Boston! Perfect four season escape: enjoy being on the water during summer, leaf peeping and farmers markets in the fall, skiing and snowboarding in the winter, and hiking and biking in the spring.

The space
Our 4-bedroom, 2-bath, two-story home is set back from the road and surrounded by mature trees for privacy. It comfortably sleeps 6-8 adults and offers a peaceful blend of comfort and convenience.

Upstairs
Enjoy the eat-in kitchen with upgraded appliances (including an electric stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher) and a dining table for six with a lovely view through picture windows and sliding deck door that fills the space with natural light.

The back deck features outdoor dining for six, two club chairs and a propane gas BBQ.

The upstairs living room includes a cozy wood-burning stove—perfect for morning coffee or relaxing nights in.

Two upstairs bedrooms each feature a queen bed, plus there’s a study with a queen sofa bed, TV, and wall-mounted laptop desk. The remodeled bathroom offers a modern walk-in shower and beautiful skylight.

Downstairs
The lower level includes a queen bedroom, a sitting area with a 75” TV, sectional sofa, and another wood-burning stove, plus a bathroom with shower. Naturally cooler than upstairs, it’s ideal for summer stays, and standing fans are provided for extra comfort.

Amenities & Comfort
Each upstairs bedroom has a digital thermostat, baseboard heating, and a ceiling fan. The whole house features high-speed WiFi and smart technology, including Google Home, voice activated lamps, and smart TVs with access to Netflix, Hulu, Max and YouTubeTV.

Window-unit A/Cs cool the main upstairs living area and primary bedroom during the summer months.

Pet Friendly
Dogs and cats are welcome! A private dog nook, water bowls, and plenty of lounging spots ensure your furry friend feels at home too.

Neighborhood highlights

Surrounded by picturesque country views and quaint local farms, we’re conveniently located in Copake, NY, with four-season access to the beauty of the Hudson Valley.

With activities and events to explore year round, the house is less than 30 minutes to the artsy towns, breweries, distilleries and dispensaries of the Berkshires in Massachusetts (Great Barrington, Tanglewood, Lenox and Sheffield), the delicious restaurants, galleries and shoppes in historic Hudson, NY and Hillsdale, NY and a treasure trove of antique shoppes in Millerton, NY, Canaan, CT and other nearby towns.

In spring and summer, Robinson Pond is a quiet lake for rowboats, paddleboards and swimming, with two sandy beaches reserved exclusively members of the community. Spend a day on the water, BBQ on the deck with patio seating for 8+ before relaxing around the firepit with a campfire, some marshmallows and a sweatshirt.

Fall in the area means gorgeous landscapes of colorful trees for leaf peepers, easily viewed on nearby hiking trails at Bish Bash Falls and Taconic State Park, and bountiful (delicious!) harvests from local farmers.

Nearby Catamount and Butternut ski hills (less than 15 minutes away) are the perfect winter escape. Spend a day on the slopes before cuddling up with a cozy blanket and our wood-burning stoves.
