Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.
The guest barn was formerly a barn outbuilding, newly renovated to a high standard with huge rooms. The barn sits in the countryside hidden away and offers a peaceful retreat. The courtyard is sheltered and can be a sun trap for enjoying breakfast in the morning.
At the side of the barn, there is an additional patio with table and chairs and a comfortable sofa overlooking the meadow, an ideal spot for enjoying a cuppa tea or a gin and tonic.

The space
The accommodation is modern, generous and spacious. There is a large bedroom with walk in wardrobe and ensuite with a good sized shower.
There is 1 super king bed, 1 double sofa bed (in the living room) plus 1 small double sofa bed (in the bedroom).
The open plan living room/kitchen is modern and fully equipped, it has a warm, sunny feeling as it overlooks the meadow. Guests have their own patio area at the side overlooking the meadow and a breakfast table in the courtyard.
Guests are welcome to make use of the larger gardens where there are several patio and seating areas available .

Other things to note
There are large gardens and ponds of about 2 acres that are shared with our main house, but available for you to use as you wish.

Neighborhood highlights

We are located between Whitchurch and Wem, so ideal for country walks and visiting the surrounding areas.
We are close to Whixall Moss, Ellesmere, Shrewsbury and just 10 miles from the newly opened BeWILDerwood for families.
Whitchurch is a small town with several supermarkets and local shops so all amenities are a short drive away. There are some amazing restaurants, two of which are Michelin rated. Alderford Lake is on our doorstep with all sorts of activities or just a relaxing coffee and cake by the lakeside.
