Stay in the heart of Kill Devil Hills at the "Sand bUKet". This tastefully updated 4-bedroom, 2 bath cottage has everything beach lovers need for a great vacation in a central locale on the Beach Road in Kill Devil Hills. A perfect launching point for your adventures right across the street from the oceanfront and less than a 2 minute (430 feet) walk to the public beach access on Martin's Street.

The space
The entry-level laundry iarea leads upstairs to the first level with two queen bedrooms, one bedroom with bunk beds and a single bed, one full bathroom, and a living area with deck access. The top-level has ocean views from the living area and the deck, one queen bedroom and one full bathroom that can be accessed from the bedroom or from the living area. The kitchen features granite countertops, a separate cooktop with four burners, and a built-in grill. Best of all, guests can simply step outside to the top level deck anytime for sea breezes or to take in a view of the ocean.

Guest access
Located next to the popular local hang-out, the Bonzer Shack, offering yummy coastal food and fun outdoor music. It's also just a 1-2-minute walk to Dare Devil's Pizzeria and Food Dudes Kitchen and a 5-10-minute walk to CVS, Kill Devil Custard, Five Guys Burgers, JK's Restaurant, Fuji Japanese Steakhouse, Shine on Juicery, Starbucks, and other shops and restaurants

Other things to note
You are right in the heart of town on the oceanfront, so in season there will be activity all around!

The minimum age to rent is 25. ABSOLUTELY no parties or overnight outside guests will be allowed. You will be asked to leave immediately and will not receive a refund of any kind.

Please do not park in the yard or on the street. Parking is only allowed n the driveway.

This is a dog friendly rental. While we and our cleaners are as thorough as possible, If you have pet allergies this listing may not be suitable for you.

Dogs only - maximum of 2 dogs allowed. (We do not allow cats.) Please let us know in advance if you plan to bring your dog and add them to your guest count in order for the pet fee to be charged. Dogs must be house-trained, friendly (in case we need to access the house), up to date on flea meds and shots, and well-socialized. Dogs are not to be left alone unattended in the house uncrated for extended periods of time. Be sure to pick up after your dog in all areas and keep your dog off the furniture. If you have a "shedding" type breed, clean-up also means hair within reason. Failure to do so or any damage from your dog will result in an additional fee.

Please note that this is a vacation rental and not a hotel. (We love and appreciate our guests and truly mean that in the absolute nicest way!) You will need to roll trash carts out for trash pickup, do your dishes, etc., and basically leave the house reasonably as you found it.

If you use the grill please clean it before departure for the next guests. Our cleaners do not clean grills. If you use the last of the propane in one of the tanks, please let us know or replace it.

If you break something please replace it or let us know ahead of time so that we can be proactive for the next guests. We know accidents happen - just help us out!

We provide one set of bath towels per expected guest. We do not provide beach towels.

We provide the first roll of toilet paper per bathroom and one roll of paper towels. Additional needs are the guests' responsibility.

We are your neighbors and live just a couple of miles away. We are super laid back but expect that you will respect our space and the rules.
