Perched in the lush mountains between Sámara and Nosara, this teak-clad, two-story retreat opens to breathtaking ocean views. Here, nature surrounds you, tropical birds glide overhead, pizotes wander the hills, and kinkajous and armadillos make occasional, quiet evening appearances.

The space
The warmth of teak defines this home—both inside and out. Step upstairs to discover the main bedroom and terrace, where exposed teak beams, ceilings, and floors create a serene, organic atmosphere. A handcrafted Guanacaste wardrobe adds both beauty and ample storage.
Downstairs, the kitchen blends artistry with function, offering a view of the home’s elegant teak structure. Quartz counters, a glass-top stove, and a cozy workspace or coffee nook make daily living effortless, while a half bath adds convenience.
Outside, a spacious terrace with a teak dining table for six, built-in sink, and hand crafted counter invites you to dine and unwind amid the stunning ocean and mountain views framed by dramatic two-story glass walls.

Guest access
You’ll have complete access to both floors of the home and the fenced yard area, perfect for relaxing or enjoying the scenery. A shared infinity pool is just a few steps away, and you’re welcome to explore the rest of the lush 2.5-acre property, shared with three other guesthouses.

Other things to note
Access off the main paved road is a gravel mountain road. It is resurfaced annually in July. March-June is the roughest condition but easily accessible. Go slow and embrace the adventure!
