The space
Welcome to the PearTree Chalet, a thoughtfully designed retreat centrally located in the heart of the Pocono Mountains. Curated for relaxation, this 1985 chalet wraps you in a warm, mountain living feeling with its luxury wood interior and soft glow.

The main floor features an open-concept living and dining area with a large sofa, a pellet stove, and a 55” Smart TV. The farm-to-table style dining table extends to seat up to eight. The modern, fully equipped kitchen is ready for you to cook your favorite dishes. The home is equipped with MiniSplit units for both A/C and heat for year-round comfort.

Sleeping Arrangements:
Queen Bedroom (Main Floor): Features a comfortable queen bed, a 55” TV with a FireStick, Sonos speaker, and a closet with a dresser.
Twin Bedroom (Main Floor): Includes two twin beds, Sonos speaker, and reading lights.
King Loft Retreat (Second Floor): This open-concept loft offers a king-sized bed, a comfortable leather couch, a chaise lounge, a dedicated desk workspace, Sonos speaker and a TV with AppleTV. Enjoy unobstructed views through large windows and skylights.

The full bathroom includes a large tub and shower.

Outdoor Living:
Your private outdoor oasis awaits. The large screened porch is perfect for playing games, while the deck features a Weber BBQ grill and a gas fire pit. Just steps away, you can soak your cares away in the 6-person hot tub under the stars. The yard also includes a large wood fire pit with seating for six and a hammock.

Guest access
Guests will have private access to the entire home, yard, and all on-site amenities like the hot tub and fire pits.

You will also have full access to the amenities offered by the Locust Lake Village community. To ensure safety and security, all guests and vehicles must be registered with the community before arrival.
Registration Process: A included fee of $35 per stay is paid directly to the community. After registering, you must print a dated renter’s parking permit and a compactor pass.
Wristbands: Wristbands for all guests 12 years or older will be provided at the home. These must be worn to access community amenities. A $40 replacement fee is charged for each lost or damaged wristband.

Community amenities include:
Three lakes with beaches for swimming and relaxing
Kayaking, canoeing, and fishing (PA fishing license required)
Tennis, Pickleball, basketball, and volleyball courts
Hiking trails
Playgrounds
Winter ski and sledding slopes

Other things to note
Our home is equipped with MiniSplits A/C and Heat, and heat from Pellet stove keeping you comfortable regardless of the temperature outside.

- Included in Airbnb costs is registration fee of $35 to the community and wristbands given at checkin, and returned free from damage upon checkout - photo & printer required - $40 for lost/damaged wristbands
- Pet fee - $150, max 2 fur babies (dogs)
- Tesla Level 2 - EV Charger onsite (Non-Tesla vehicles must bring an AC adaptor, note not the same as SuperCharger DC one)

Neighborhood highlights

We have Four lakes in our community, and one is a short 5-minute walk or 2-minute ClubCar (CC based on and for an additional fee) ride from our home. During the three warmers seasons, the lakes come alive with many scheduled activities (activities listed in your welcome pack). In the community, you have access to tennis, beach volleyball, basketball courts, and play areas for kids for your enjoyment. During the winter, two ski Hills with a T-bar lift on the weekends and a sledding hill are open daily, ice skating temp permitting.

You are centrally located to all major attractions, our home is ~10 mins drive to the Kalahari Waterpark & Jack Frost, Big Boulder, Pocono Race Track. 20-25 minutes to Camelback resorts, Mount Airy Casino, Crossing outlets & water rafting. 30-40 minutes from Great Wolf Lodge, Bushkill Falls, Historic Jim Thorpe, Skirmish paintball, & Cities of Wilkes-Barre & Scranton.
