Other things to note
While we strive to include thoughtful touches, we encourage guests to personalize their experience by truly unplugging and enjoying not just our home, but everything the outdoors has to offer.
THINGS TO NOTE:
-The chalet is perfect for mature adults, families, and friends seeking a peaceful getaway. While we love parties, we unfortunately cannot accommodate them as we are legally limited to a 11 guests maximum. We have full-time neighbors and are committed to maintaining a quiet and respectful atmosphere for their enjoyment.
-There is parking for 4 cars in the driveway. Parking on the road at anytime is not permitted.
- We are located in Northern Vermont, where the weather can be unpredictable. In winter and spring months, a 4x4 or AWD vehicle is required. Our driveway and road are maintained with snow removal, but it should be noted the road leading to the property is dirt.
WEATHER/CANCELLATIONS:
Weather events are becoming less and less predictable, and because they are out of our control we do not offer refunds for cancellations, or reservation date changes, due to weather events. Please purchase travel insurance (which AirBNB now offers!) to help protect yourself.
SMOKING POLICY:
To protect the integrity of our home and ensure a healthy environment for all guests, smoking or vaping of any kind is strictly prohibited inside the property, including all interior rooms, hallways, bathrooms, and any enclosed areas. This includes (but is not limited to) cigarettes, cigars, pipes, e-cigarettes, cannabis, and any other smoke- or vapor-producing products.
If any evidence of smoking or vaping is found inside the home after checkout, a $1,000 remediation fee will be charged.
This fee covers the cost of deep cleaning, odor remediation, soft-goods laundering or replacement, and any additional labor required to return the home to guest-ready condition.
Smoking is permitted outdoors only and must be at least 15 feet away from the home. All cigarette butts and related waste must be fully extinguished and disposed of properly. Additional cleaning fees may apply if outdoor smoking waste is left behind.
By booking, guests acknowledge and agree to this policy.
