The cottage has 2 outdoor security cameras: one by the front door, and one by the backyard. They are for security purposes only. The backyard camera will sense motion and activate if movement is detected from the fence or side gate.

SAN DIEGO BEACH RULES: Please note you will be ticketed if not followed:
Do not take glass of any kind to the beach
No drinking on the beach or boardwalk or seawall
No smoking/vaping on the beach
Guest access
Guests have private access to the home, front courtyard, and backyard.
You’ll also have access to free Wi-Fi, 3 free parking spots, complimentary coffee, a laundry nook and Netflix, Hulu included on the brand new Roku TVs. Of note: you will need to sign into your personal Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ account. Login information is automatically removed after check-out. There are 2 beach cruiser bikes for you to enjoy. Please bring your own helmets!

OUTDOOR CAMERAS
For your safety, there are 3 outdoor Ring cameras: 1 outdoor camera in the driveway, 1 outdoor camera in the front porch, and 1 outdoor camera by the parking area.
PETS ARE WELCOME
Pets up to 40 lbs are welcome with prior approval and additional $75 pet fee.
**No pets without prior written approval. If you're bringing a pet, you must follow airbnb's pet rules: dispose of all pet waste properly, never leave pet unattended in the home or backyard, and keep dogs leashed when walking them outside of the home.
NOT EVENTS OR PARTIES
Please note this is NOT a party house. No additional guests allowed in or near the property at any time. Please note the following house rules that we have implemented to keep neighbors happy and abide by airbnb's "no party" rules:
1. No music outdoors
2. Loud conversations need to be kept INDOORS
3. If neighbors call with a noise complaint, you get one chance to resolve within 30 minutes. A 2nd call means your reservation will be cancelled without refund and your group will be required to leave.
San Diego now requires all guests to sign a Good Neighbor Policy document prior to staying. We do enforce their policy so it must be signed in order to receive check-in info, but we will make it super easy for you to initial and sign :) It can all be done online.
Strictly enforced noise curfew from 10PM-7AM daily
No smoking at the property.
No commercial use of the property including personal services, photo or video shoots or other business use.
PROPANE TANKS
We do our best to keep propane tanks full. But there is a chance that the propane tank for a barbecue or fire pit might be empty. If this is the case, please reach out to us right away.
CHECK IN/CHECK OUT:
- Early check-in/Late check-out is $150 (depending on availability)
- Unauthorized late check-outs will be charged $50 per hour.
Please note that scuffs, scratches, and stains may exists in the property that were not photographed. We repaint and replace items often but not between every guest. Please note that no refunds will be provided for such minor wear and tear, as it is part of the natural upkeep of a well-loved vacation home.
Our property is in a natural setting, so insects or small animals may occasionally appear. We do our best to minimize this, with professional pest control, maintenance, and cleaning, but keeping doors and windows closed at all times helps. Our cleaning team thoroughly inspects the home before each stay, though some may still find their way in. If you do notice any insects or small animals inside, please notify us, and we'll send our team right away to address the issue.
Kindly note, refunds will not be provided for these occurrences.
