Stylish countryside accommodation situated in the quaint village of Fyfield. The Old Library is a peaceful, self-contained, fully equipped guest house within easy reach of Oxford and the Cotswolds.
Access is through an electric gate and gravel drive. Guests will have ample off street parking directly outside the guest house.
The space
Tucked away on the site of an old vicarage, bordering the picturesque village church, The Old Library comprises a spacious, comfortable open plan living space, a fully equipped kitchen, a modern bathroom with a shower, and one bedroom with a king size bed.
A cosy reading nook with small desk area on the mezzanine floor is available for anyone who needs space for a laptop or to relax with a book.
A high quality sofa bed is provided in the living area for those in larger groups.
A 7kw EV charge point is available to use for a fee.
Other things to note
Guests can expect the occasional comings and goings of family life, because the property shares a large gravel driveway with our family home. We regret that the family garden areas are not available to guests although occasionally we may be able to provide access.
For your safety we have a security camera on the outside of the property pointing towards the main house, which also covers the guest house parking area.
One side of the Old Library looks out onto the church graveyard. It’s a small and quiet church, and we never have any noise issues with the 'neighbours'!
