A lot of what is on site once had another life so might seem a bit quirky but that's the way we like it and try to encourage our visitors to think how they can reduce waste and only bring what can be used or recycled.
We run our place as a sustainable, eco friendly resort.
We are passionate recyclers and aim for zero waste where possible.
We ask our guests to treat the area the same way.

We have two dogs and free roaming hens during the day.

We do not encourage people to drive right up to the property, as access is a single track that some cars may not like if they are large or lowered. Please contact us to discuss parking options.

Neighborhood highlights

The surrounding area is great for walking, wild swimming and cultural adventures. We are situated between two towns that have fantastic independent shops, pubs and restaurants.
If music is your thing then we are lucky to have two great live music venues nearby, The Trades Club in Hebden Bridge and The Golden Lion in Todmorden.

The Calder Valley is part of the South Pennines and has stunning scenery.

Our space is peaceful and tranquil. Music is allowed, however as the day turns to night sound can carry, so we ask guests to be mindful of volume, especially after 8pm.

After 10.00pm, it's quiet voices :)

PS it's always worth turning down the sound just to hear the bird song.
