Our coastal home located in the private family friendly community of Ocean Sands sits in the heart of Corolla just minutes from the area’s best attractions.

The space
Whether you are enjoying the beach, visiting local attractions, or discovering new fishing holes our cozy home is where you want to be. Like many coastal homes in OBX, Salty Dogs features a reverse floor plan with the main living spaces on the top floor. This provides plenty of natural light and views of the ocean to the living room, and dining room! The top level also features a half bath and a screened-in portion of the deck with a picnic bench to enjoy your meals or family time outside. The mid-level of our home features four bedrooms and two main baths. Two of the bedrooms have direct access to the deck where the pool and hot tub are located! The ground level features a carport, access to the laundry facilities, outdoor shower, and grill area as well as access to the pool deck. Our home is furnished with many modern amenities such as flat screen TVs, access to Wi-Fi and streaming services, a large collection of DVDs, VHS, video games, and books as well as a variety of beach gear to enjoy your time.

Other things to note
The Salty Dogs beach house is not for parties or events out of respect for the residential community. Guests are limited to the people staying there.
We have a minimum 7-day stay.
Linens are included.
We welcome a maximum of two dogs per stay. To ensure a clean and safe environment, we charge a pet fee of $250.
We understand that accidents can happen, and we want to make sure we handle them promptly. Please notify us immediately so we can take the necessary steps. For your convenience, we have a carpet shampooer available for any minor incidents.
You are vacationing near wildlife reserves and areas with sensitive aquatic life. We perform quarterly pest control, which means that while bugs may occasionally make their way inside, this is completely normal for the location. Therefore, finding a bug or two does not justify a refund from the host. If, however, you notice an unusual number of bugs, please reach out to us with pictures and the locations where you've seen them. We’re here to assist you!

Neighborhood highlights

One of the major benefits of booking with us is the private stair access to Corolla Beach. We are also a minute walk to the Corolla Greenway that is the perfect pedestrian path to enjoy family walks or bicycle rides while enjoying the Outer banks scenery. Our portion of the Ocean sands community is right across from grocery, clothing, and dining options however there are several areas to explore along the NC 12. Please don’t hesitate to ask for recommendations!
