Peace and quiet

Ocean and harbor views

Soak up the views during your stay.
Have your morning coffee looking out at the sunrise and sailboats from your living room or bedroom windows. This modern studio feels secluded while only a mile and a half from Main Street Vineyard Haven, four miles from Oak Bluffs, and eight miles to Edgartown. This is the perfect place to unplug but does come equipped with everything you need, including wifi, smart tv, fully equipped kitchen, beach towels, linens, and bath towels for your stay. :)

The space
From the driveway, the studio is right of the main house, up three stairs, to a combination lock on the door. When entering the studio, the spiral staircase to the right, the living room/dining room is to the left with a 27" TV mount on wall, and ahead is the fully stocked kitchen. You must request the use of the queen or single air mattress but not both due to not having the space. Note: all guest are required to be on reservation and there is a 75.00 fee per night for any guests over 3.

At the top of the spiral staircase is your master suite with regular king size bed with an adjustable base, 42"smart tv, full bath with corner shower, and stackable washer and dryer.

We put in AC to enhance the guest experience but the island is relatively cool at night if you like the outside air the windows can be opened. There is a remote controlled ceiling fan over the bed and baseboard heat throughout the studio for those cold nights in October. :)

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire studio, including the front studio patio with table and chairs over looking the pond. Guests have access to only ONE parking spot marked with an orange cone. Parking is on a share driveway and you are required to park in designated spot only no exceptions. No street parking is available. There is NO water/beach access see guest house rules.

Other things to note
Martha's Vineyard is an island with access via the ferry system out of Woods Hole, Massachusetts. We highly suggest you book reservations well in advance if you're bringing a car over to the island especially. The Steamship Authority reservations fill up fast and sometimes have limited reservations available. You can walk over and use the taxi service, rideshare service, or bus as well or bring your bike over. The island is very bike friendly with many bike paths and the buses are equipped with bike racks.

Steamship Authority in Woods Hole is the only location to catch the ferry that takes Cars and walk on passengers to the island with two possible destinations: Vineyard Haven and Oak Bluffs. My suggestion is to come in through Vineyard Haven. If you're walking or biking because it's a mile and a half to the house. Please do your research on the ferry system well in advance, obtaining a reservation. below are all the ferries that come to the island.

I highly recommend bringing bikes or using the bus system to get around. Please go to the Martha’s Vineyard bus service website for up to date location and schedule of the buses. Bus #1 Edgartown Vineyard Haven Road is the bus that will take you to the bus stop near the Airbnb please inform your bus driver you need to get off at Hillside Village it’s 8 min from the first stop from the steamship authority in Vineyard Haven. Walk down Lagoon Ave. then turn left on Howard St. make sure you have a light on your bike because there is no street lights on back roads.

You can fly to the Martha’s Vineyard airport are many airline providers. MVY is the airport designation code.

Please plan your travel well in advance to the Vineyard and use the one that fits your plans to get on and off the island. :)
