Even in winter, the Muckelwagen is wonderfully warm in our "House in the Flower" at the "End of the World", in the large wild garden with a stream and a small pond all by itself right on the edge of the forest. Its 12 square meters offer natural life for adventurers and nature lovers with 2-3 sleeping places, RV gas heating and a small electrically equipped kitchenette. Located 100 meters away is the large shared bathroom with Indian steam sauna. We look forward to seeing you soon!

The space
In our cul-de-sac "Blume" in Ziegenhagen near Witzenhausen, our circus wagon is located right on the edge of the forest.
In the large, natural garden with a stream and small pond, you have your own area with a Hollywood swing, hammock and your own garden table and chairs.
The fire salamanders, but also newts, frogs and toads have their kingdom here and at night it is always good to walk with a flashlight so as not to possibly step on them.
In the circus wagon there is 1 bed (2 x 1.40 m) and a sofa bed comfortably with extra topper (1 x 1 m), these offer sleeping places for 2 - 3 people. With a table, bench, kitchenette and small cabinet, the 12 sqm are then also well filled, so we rather advise coming as a couple.

Guest access
Our main house is a good 100 meters away. Here is your large bathroom, which is sometimes also used by other guests.
This is also where you will find our Wi-Fi, but also an iron, hairdryer and everything else that people need for their well-being. Just ask!

Other things to note
Our neighbors live 150 meters away with their 3 children.
The children are on their way to the neighboring garden after school. The forest edge location of our circus wagon promises only bird chirping and silence. However, we are on the edge of a normal village!
The bird sounds are also accompanied by lawn mowers or, for example, after school, by the voices of neighbors' children playing. In return, you can hear a car at most twice a day. We can live well with the sounds here, but we think it's fair to tell you beforehand so you know what you're getting into...

Neighborhood highlights

Ziegenhagen is a district of Witzenhausen and located between Kassel and Göttingen in the middle of Germany. Directly with us begins the Kaufunger Wald, where 15 km deep can be walked in. The many springs and streams are striking directly with us. A small swimming lake is by car 7 minutes, 2 other, very nice lakes 30 minutes by car.

Witzenhausen has attracted many alternatively living people who have stayed in the region through its first federal German University of Organic Agriculture. Witzenhausen is a cherry town, transition town and we too have been attracted by the fertile nature with the gentle hills and the strikingly future-oriented people here.

The Parimal, Gut Hübenthal, about 8 km away, as a meditation center has also brought many alternative living people into our region. In the meantime, Ziegenhagen is now a mixed village of many committed newly moved and the also open-minded old-fashioned eateries.

The "Nachhaltiges Ziegenhagen" working group, for example, now embraces more than 20 projects, from the common "village garden" to a "village newspaper" to the common "growing old in the countryside".

It is worth mentioning in the area of the Kaufunger Wald, various spas, Berlepsch Castle, Ludwigstein Castle, Sababurg Castle and Hann Münden: My favorite town. As a medieval town with its many, small alleys and wind-skewed houses, it invites you to marvel while strolling.

The incredibly beautiful, gently hilly nature with its many, many streams and fruit trees is to be emphasized again and again, however, like the Hohe Meißner and thus our "Frau Holle Land" with the mythical Holle Pond, Holle Stein and Holle Cave. All ancient places of worship of the great goddess in the form of the "Frau Holle". As a fairy tale then discovered by the Brothers Grimm here.

My work: House in the flower
Speaks German and English
I live and draw in Ziegenhagen since 2003. As initiator of the "Haus in der Blume", I am happy who the place likes again and again: nature-loving individualists, quiet retreats, newly creating and creating thinkers and seekers and finders, the life-loving and the peace living people who are culturally creative and open to the heart of themselves and let others live.
