Our Home: This property is our cherished home, not a luxury hotel. It's perfect for mature adults and families seeking a peaceful getaway. We encourage you to unplug and enjoy the simple pleasures of the home and the surrounding nature.
Air Conditioning: Please note the home does not have air conditioning. That said, it’s situated directly on a pond and surrounded by a wooded, shaded lot, which helps keep the home naturally cooler. Fresh breeze off the water and cool evenings make summer stays comfortable for most guests.
Wildlife: The cabin is in a remote area where wildlife is present. You may encounter bears, deer, moose, bobcats, mice, and insects. Please be mindful of this when booking.
Water: The water is sourced from a natural spring on the property. While safe for showering and cooking, additional drinking water is provided from a water cooler located it the kitchen.
Remote Location: With peace and solitude comes… peace and solitude. The nearest hospital, major grocery store, and pharmacy are about a 30 minute drive away. Smaller general stores and farm stands are closer for basic necessities.
