Vacation rentals in Glover

Excellent weekend stay among the fall foliage! Easy access to Stowe, Burlington, and of course Bolton. Quiet, private, and proactive and friendly hosts!

We would recommend this house, and stay here again. Roomy, clean, plenty of space to be together and apart to recoup. Peaceful surroundings, great location for dogs, convenient to slopes (10 minutes), convenient to village (15 minutes to village and Trappe restaurant), 25 minutes to Ben & Jerrys, 1hr to Burlington. Nice to eat in and cook but plenty of lovely eateries if you want to eat out! Local grocery store is small, but they had all the necessities. Driveway got snowed in but plows came and did a great job clearing. Its a steep sand driveway, we had a minivan (no snow tires, no chains) but it did fine. Not without a bit of worry for the conditions but it did fine. Liza was responsive and attentive to our questions and requests. Id highly recommend this place!

For a large party (8 people) this was the perfect space. Had enough space for all of the guests, had great amenities in beautiful surroundings. The AirBnB was located close to a number of attractions in Stowe which made finding something to do incredibly helpful. Overall this was a great rental and I would book it again in a heartbeat.

I was looking for a place to watch the leaves change for the month of October and I found it. The pictures do not do this home justice. It is more spacious than I thought and the views are even more spectacular in person. Access to all parts of Lake Willoughby and room for two distinct groups or families with upstairs and downstairs bedrooms and a midlevel with open concept kitchen, living and dining areas and a full bath and washer/dryer. It is COMPLETELY stocked with everything you need for an extended stay. Incredibly peaceful and I hope I am lucky enough to visit again.

Margaret's house was ideal for our vacation. We especially liked the kayaks and the entry to the lake, the grill, and the lovely back porch, which accommodated many family members of all ages. We took side trips to Canada, Glover, and Lake Willoughby. We ordered pizza from Hoagies for our first night, since we figured nobody would want to cook. We saw a bald eagle, completed a jigsaw puzzle and built an epic Jenga. I made a mistake by not pulling the Casella trash bin closer to the road on Wednesday night. Maybe that requirement could be put into the "house rules" part of the website? Margaret was always available to answer our questions, replying immediately to our texts. If anything, her kitchen is "over-stocked" with pantry items (maybe from previous guests?), which included lots of helpful Tupperware. The lake is beautiful , with few motorboats to disturb the calm. We'd love to come back.

This is a great place up in the white mountains, we were able to enjoy nature and the amenities of town. beautiful place. Enjoyed our stay very much.

The house was clean and had a ton of games and other activities. Highly recommend!

I brought my Girl Scout troop to Vermont this summer for some outdoor adventures, and Evelyn's chalet was the perfect home base for us. We took day trips to Mount Mansfield and Lake Champlain (both about an hour away), Ben and Jerry's and Montpelier (both about half an hour away) and Warren Falls (about 10 minutes away). Coming back to the chalet every day felt like coming home. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of room for everyone to sit around the dining table and around the living room. The town of Waitsfield was only a few minutes' drive away, with a decent grocery store, and some nice shops and restaurants that we never got around to checking out because we were too busy exploring further afield. We didn't have the best weather while we were there, but we did have one clear night for stargazing, and the property was isolated enough that we had a great view of the sky and even spotted a few meteors.
