We have a power backup system. We use it when KSEB is not able to fix the issue within 30 minutes. Please understand that we are also not running the generator non-stop as it is quite loud and would blow up our expenses. Nonetheless we aim for outstanding comfort for our guests

Varkala is not a party place like Goa due to the alcohol restrictions in Kerala but nonetheless we have some nice restaurants where parties take place and we have smaller events planned throughout the high season.
