The space
We like to attract guests who want adventurous style accommodation, so step into wildlife with nesting birds & bees by day & watch the bats fly low at dusk.
Park on the driveway & own access through a side gate. Walk down the garden to your cosy cabin. Note: Steps to enter.
CABIN SIZE:
32 x 8.5ft / 10 x 3 metres.
OUTSIDE attached shower/toilet room size: 6ft x 7ft
SLEEPS (3 options):
A: 2-4 adults.
B: 2 adults & 2 children.
C: 2 adults & 3 young children (shared beds).
HEATING:
We use 'infrared' heaters for cosy instant heat. There's a portable heater & a large fitted one in the lounge. Electric blanket on the double bed and extra thick duvets and throws provided. The outside shower room has a sensor heater as you enter.
THE SPACE:
Located in Hosts garden, though cabin is completely private. It is one long space, with a double bed at the back end & an extra pull out single bed if needed, this bed can be raised high (making extra space for co-sleeping) or low. Also a further single floor mattress is available in the lounge. There is a skylight (with blackout blind) over the bed to watch the moon & stars. Curtain hanging rail for clothes. Curtains can be closed to section off the bedroom.
Kitchen is in the middle, fully equipped with oven, hob, combi microwave/oven/grill, fridge and running hot water, sink & surface for food prep. Kettle & toaster with all basic essentials, dining area with table to seat 4 people. Also outdoor bbq, firepit & seating lit by hanging lights in the evening.
Following through to the lounge with a 3 seater sofa & second single bed if needed & TV with Netflix, Disney, Prime etc. Double doors open out overlooking pool (in summer) & back garden.
WASHROOM: There is an outside toilet/shower right next to the cabin, which has an infrared heater on a sensor & bluetooth speaker mirror. Fluffy towels all included.
GARDEN:
Outside desking leading to outdoor shower/toilet room & steps down to the garden with the 'cold unheated' pool (July-Sept ONLY) There is a HUGE garden, shared with the main house which follows down to an open paddock where you can meet free roaming hens, children's play area with play kitchen, slide, monkey bars & swings, sandpit, trampoline & basketball hoop.
We welcome full use of garden furniture for outside dining, including firepit & bbq. Please supervise younger children at all times as the garden is wild.
PLEASE WRAP UP WARM FOR BEDTIME. It is NOT an insulated building as we don't want to lose the rustic charm but does have double glazing.
Guest access
Guests have full use of private cabin & outside shower/toilet (next to cabin). The garden is a shared place with the host.
Other things to note
We decorate celebrating seasonal events including Easter, Halloween & Xmas.
Pool: Available from MAY to early SEPT
Heating:
Do wrap up warm in the colder months though we do heat with infrared heaters, 3 in the cabin and 1 in the bathroom. Also included double heated mattress with dual controls.
Safety:
Do supervise children at all time, the garden is large and wild. We have a building project at the very far part of the field, this is under construction and not for playing in.
Note: Some farm smells and noises in the summer months as we are located by a farm and surrounding neighbours.
Animals can be shut away if they are not your thing, just let us know if you prefer & we can accommodate your wishes.
