Private view of spectacular red rock cliffs behind the house. Beautiful hikes out the front door. Whether you like hiking, biking, star-gazing, bird-watching, or simply relaxing, this is the perfect base camp. Within easy reach of Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon, and so much more.

Amazing custom home: 3 bed, 3 bath, 2 king beds, dedicated office space, window seats, and stunning views from every room. Outside, enjoy the BBQ, rock art area, and fire pit. Includes access to pool, hot tub & pickleball.

The space
Enjoy many nearby hiking trails and easy access to national parks. The east gate of spectacular Zion National Park is only 35 minutes away, while scenic Bryce Canyon is 90 minutes away. The majestic Grand Canyon North Rim is 90 minutes away (accessible end of May to late October). Lake Powell, Antelope Canyon, Buckskin Gulch, and much more are all within reach. There is so much to see; stay a while as you explore near and far.

After exploring, enjoy the comforts of a home built to a higher standard. The house is super-insulated: solid walls (more than a foot thick) and triple-glazed windows keep the house at your desired temperature through hot summer days and cold winter nights. Continuous ventilation ensures fresh filtered air at all times. Take in the cliff views from the comfortable window seats without a cold draft. Insulation below the floor keeps your feet warm. This is how all houses should be built: once you experience this level of comfort, you will not want to leave.

Outside, enjoy amazing views from the shaded patio, fire up the BBQ grill, or exercise your creativity in the rock art area. This is a designated dark sky area, perfect for stargazing while sitting around the backyard fire pit.

Whether you take advantage of the excellent restaurants that Kanab has to offer, or want to create your own feast, we’ve got you covered. The kitchen is fully equipped for a quick snack at the bar area or a hearty meal at the massive dining table seating 8. A Keurig is provided for quick coffee; a coffee grinder and AeroPress are available if you are hankering for an amazing cup of joe.

The two main bedrooms each feature a king bed and their own en-suite bathroom; a third bathroom ensures that everybody gets a shower. The third bedroom has a bunk bed as well as a large sit-stand desk. A pull-out couch in the living room sleeps two more for a total of 8.

The living room features comfortable couches and recliners to take in the view or the 65 inch Roku TV. For fun, you’ll find puzzles, books, and games, including old classics as well as modern board games like Ticket to Ride and Settlers of Catan.

If you need to get some work done, the sit-stand desk is adjustable to your preferred height, and you’ll enjoy spectacular views east and south while working. A laser printer is available to print directions before heading into the wilderness. The high-speed gigabit internet lets you connect through fast Wi-Fi or Ethernet. Numerous USB-C outlets throughout the house make it easy to charge all your devices (and we provide connectors and cables for other ports). The two-car garage provides a charging outlet for your electric car.

Our house is part of La Estancia, and as our guests, you get to enjoy the clubhouse with swimming pool, hot tub, exercise room, and pool table, as well the pickleball court, bocce lane, playground, and dog park, all a short walk away.

Kanab is a short 5-minute drive away and offers small town charm with great restaurants, local artist shops, grocery stores, etc.

Kanab is close to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, which offers tours and volunteer opportunities. Your pet is welcome; please don’t leave them unattended.

There’s a Ring outdoor camera at the front door to help in case of any checkin issues.
