Welcome to The Juke Joint, a one-of-a-kind stay in the heart of Water Valley, Mississippi. Set inside a beautifully restored 1891 home, this cozy retreat blends historic Southern charm with an eclectic, soulful style inspired by Mississippi’s rich musical roots.
After sitting empty for nearly 40 years, the home was lovingly brought back to life during a four-year restoration, preserving its old-house character while adding the comforts today’s travelers appreciate.
The Juke Joint features a comfortable bedroom, private bath, inviting living room and full kitchen—perfect for a weekend getaway, an Ole Miss game, graduation, or a few quiet days exploring North Mississippi.
Relax on the porch, wander into charming downtown Water Valley, or make the easy drive to Oxford. At the end of the day, come home to a place with a little history, a little soul, and a whole lot of Mississippi character.
The Juke Joint isn’t just a place to sleep—it’s part of the story.
Guest access
Access to this unit is through a side door located on the driveway side of the house, under the carport. There is also a rear entrance in the back.
*PLEASE* do not use the front door, this is the access to the other downstairs unit. Street parking only, please make sure the postal worker can get to our mailbox.
Other things to note
Our home has 3 units! The upstairs apartment is rented long term. The two lower units are both airbnb's! They can be rented jointly for larger groups! Just ask!

About us...I am a singer/songwriter/musician originally from Southern Illinois. My two younger children are also musicians so we moved to Music City USA in 2012, imagine that! We LOVE Nashville! It has truly become home to us. In addition to music I am also a commercial painter, serial entrepreneur and mother of three. I have been known to pull small pieces of furniture from a curbside trash pile and repurpose it. Creating beautiful spaces and original pieces of reclaimed art is what I do best.
When we first moved to Nashville we had no intention of pursuing music as a family band, but that's exactly what happened! We have spent many years touring all over singing together. For me, it has truly been the experience of a lifetime! Most things is life have a season, and our touring together is winding down. We've made a lifetime of memories and some amazing music. You can find us simply by googling Eisenhauer Band. The best part is, we can tell you about the best hidden places in Nashville to get an amazing meal or have the best chance to run into someone famous.
About our family...Our oldest daughter Savanna is a professional photographer. She and her family still live in southern Illinois along with my parents. Our younger daughter Amelia is currently a student at Berklee college of Music, pursuing a degree in audio engineering. She has the distinction of being an American Idol (AI15) and is getting to work on her first solo album! We're pretty excited about that! Our youngest and only son Andrew is pursuing a career as a boat captain and making a mess in our garage with his current project, a 68' mustang given to him by my dad.
In our AirBnB you will fine fabulous flea market finds, one of a kind pieces and attention to detail. Tastefully done, cozy but not a museum. We want you to feel comfortable. Our first experience renting vacation homes began on the beaches of South Carolina 17 years ago. There's nothing quite like getting together with friends and family under the same roof. Through the years our hosts provided a home where our family could be together, have a wonderful experience and make memories we will cherish forever. Now, we want to provide that same experience for you!
