Welcome to the Hummingbird House, located just around the corner from Oracle State Park, Community Gardens and located in a peaceful neighborhood.
The space
Oracle is an amazing little oasis with milder weather than Tucson and away from traffic and the city. Enjoy the year-round hummingbirds!
Our house is perfect for 1 to 4 people to stay comfortably. The 2nd bedroom has french doors that lead into the backyard and 2 large twin futon beds.
Enjoy the unique features, saltillo tile, hand crafted wooden doors and glass features. The backyard took years to create with a half acre of fruit trees, hummingbird gardens, wildflowers and herbs.
We love this house and are happy to share it with you. It is so cozy with personal touches and custom features. The wifi is fast and we have comfortable places to work and relax. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of dishes and cooking utensils for your stay.
Use the comfortable reclining outdoor chairs and enjoy the dark skies in Oracle and star gaze. Feel free to enjoy meals under the oak trees in the backyard. Watch for owls, finches, hummingbirds and many other birds that love this area.
Guest access
You will have access to all parts of the property! This half acre property is filled with interesting plants, trees and herbs to enjoy and a great place to relax and enjoy meals outside or read. Enjoy parking under the carport, harvesting herbs and fruit that ripens throughout the year and make yourselves at home!
Other things to note
We are happy to share our house with you! This location and property is one of a kind! You can enjoy staying on the property and enjoying the 1/2 acre that is all yours or venture out for some amazing outdoor experiences. Our house isn't a party house and we expect all of our guests to be courteous and respect all of our neighbors (who are wonderful and hopefully you will meet)!
Once your reservation is booked we will ask for a government ID, a signed lease and a deposit depending on length of stay. This is necessary for our insurance. Thank you!

We've enjoyed being hosts for over 10 years. I ditched a CPA practice and our family of 5 sold everything to simplify life and move to France for one year. It changed our lives. I love creating unique experiences in art, festivals and by inviting guests to use our home. My husband and partner is a botanist and is a saguaro specialist.
Life is good and full so go slow.
