Those wishing to experience natural beauty, we welcome you to come relax and enjoy our rustic log cabin retreat situated in a peaceful neighborhood with a private wooded yard. This 3 bedroom 2 bath log cabin is surrounded by Wisconsin goodness, perfect for relaxing and viewing wildlife, yet we are just 5 minutes from grocery stores, superb local cuisine, plenty of shopping and only 30 min. from Downtown Milwaukee Breweries. 4 person Hot tub now added
The space
The beautiful kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to cook for a party of 6 or a small romantic meal. For your convenience, some basic ingredients and spices are provided.
Cozy up to the cobblestone fireplace indoors or keep warm at the fireplace outdoors on the picturesque deck complete with patio furniture, grill & outdoor lighting. The deck is the perfect place to spend the day relaxing, visiting, or simply enjoying the brilliance of Southeast Wiscsonsin's starry sky. Wildlife sightings from the deck regularly include deer, turkey, fox, chipmunks, squirrels, and dozens of species of birds.
If lake life is what you’re interested in, the home is located a short drive from Pewaukee Lake. Fishing, boating, water sports and more available to you. Bring your water toys and put in at the public launch. The only lake access is via the public launch or Pewaukee beach. Hidden Hideaway does not have lake access to water via piers.

Guest access
This is our primary home. Our personal items occupy the pantry, closets, dressers, vanities, and drawers. We respectfully ask that you keep these areas off limits. We have provided space in the refrigerator for your items. Please feel free to use kitchenware, spices and condiments as needed. Additionally, luggage/hanging racks are provided in the bedrooms for your use.
We want to share the log home with guests to make lasting memories in. The home is all yours during your stay. We won’t be on the property.
Other things to note
If you'd like to request an earlier check-in, we can coordinate with our property caretaker. Just send a request specifying your preferred time, and we can check availability. During the busy seasons when we have same-day check-outs and check-ins, we won’t be able to accommodate early check-ins.
: 10 am for $75 or 2 pm for $50.
We set our cabin's pricing based on the number of guests. For example, if you book for two people, you’ll pay a lower rate. But if more people are staying (up to a maximum of six), the total cost will increase. It’s really important to enter the correct number of guests when booking to see the accurate price for your group size, and also because our cabin can only host up to six guests.
Please note, if you book for only one person but six guests end up staying, the pricing will be adjusted to reflect the actual number of people staying. This ensures everyone is accounted for and that the correct rate is applied.
Guests please note we own one dog. The dog does not come in the main house. Just a warning for anyone with allergies. Although the home will be thoroughly cleaned.

The hidden hideaway is set in a heavily wooded area and with woods come the chance to see many things in nature from deer to birds and squirrels. As a reminder if you’re sitting outside there can be mosquitoes and spiders, we do treat the yard and the surrounding areas to try cut the activity down.

** We do not accept any date alterations for any reason. We also do not process refunds. We recommend all guests to purchase travel insurance incase you are unable to make your reserved dates. In the winter there is snow and a 4WD is recommended. We do not offer refunds for any reason including weather. Thank you

Neighborhood highlights
Quiet neighborhood with an up north feel. The home is set back from the road and barely visible due to surrounding trees. Road is not a main road so very quiet and not frequently traveled. Many people take walks on it. One neighbors house you can see from our house. A map of our property will be provided, please stay within the property boundaries when at the cabin.
