Stay in the first-ever permitted container home in Atlanta! We are very proud of Gimlet, which was lovingly created with a unique ATL experience in mind. Inspired by the train yard that used to exist across Wylie Street, we welded 40 ft and 20 ft containers together to make a 480 sq foot urban retreat. Discover what it's like to live small with all the benefits of home...and then some.

Neighborhood highlights

We absolutely love our neighborhood. We've often joked that we can't even keep up with the things to do, and we live here! There's new restaurants and shops opening every month, alongside the classic staples. For coffee we adore Muchacho (great breakfast tacos too!) and Parkgrounds (old-school haunt with a dog park attached), both less than a half mile walk away. Homegrown has a legendary diner breakfast. The #forwardwarrior murals alongside Wylie and Carroll Street are world-famous, as well as the Krog Street tunnel itself where you can paint your own legal graffiti. The Beltline goes right in front of our house and connects to attractions like Krog Street Market, Ponce City Market, and Piedmont Park, which are all within walking distance or a short scooter ride. Martin Luther King's birth home is also just a short urban hike away.
