Magical one-guest retreat space for rebirth! An inspiring artist studio with a bed & a personality.
When I'm not working on my art you can stay here and wake up to this surreal and incredible “in your face” view of the entire Duomo and Cathedral!
In a building from the 1600s on Piazza Duomo, this cozy studio has high ceilings & huge windows with stunning views. Sunlit rooms, inspiring decor, unique art and furniture handcrafted by me in this studio.
This private studio was renovated by me, and is decorated with original artwork, as well as some handmade wood furniture made right in the studio!
The studio is located on the main city center square, Piazza Duomo. The place is split in two rooms, each with their own huge window (11ft/3.4 meters high!) to the Duomo.
The bedroom has a comfy single bed, a designer couch, and fat cat art.
The second room is the art studio area, with a desk, a work table with all my art tools, a small full bathroom, and a half “kitchenette” with sink (there is no stove).
In the entrance, there is also a foyer where you can leave shoes, hang your coat, umbrella, etc.
BED: Single size collapsible bed with a view to the entire Duomo. Fresh soft bed sheets, fluffy comforter, down pillows, and towels are provided. Lots of cozy cushions and soft extra blankets!
KITCHENETTE: Small marble countertop with stainless steel sink. Glasses, antique silverware and plates provided. Mini fridge and fancy coffee/tea machine so you can bring out your inner George Clooney. There is no stove, so no cooking. You'll also find snacks and goodies for you <3
AMENITIES:
+ De Longhi/Nespresso premium coffee machine and tea maker
+ Teabags, espresso pods, milk cream, sugar
+ Mini fridge with Italian snacks and drinks
+ Toiletries: Organic shampoo and body wash, face wash, earplugs, and much more!
+ Anti mosquito plug-in bulb (zero mosquitoes in the studio)
+ Ceiling fan with remote control, desk mini fan
+ Heating (from November-March)
+ USB outlets and phone chargers
+ Professional GHD hair dryer, flat iron
+ Clothes iron upon request
+ Unlimited WiFi (wireless) internet
+ A guitar you can play!
+ Umbrella
Guest access
You will have the whole studio for yourself, including 2 giant windows with a breathtaking Duomo view!
Other things to note
MUST KNOW BEFORE BOOKING:

*The building has no elevator.
*There’s no kitchen stove, so no cooking.

*Double paned windows block the sound when closed. If you have the windows open you will of course hear: church bells, violinists, accordions, the crowd, etc. In the Summer, it will be lively until around midnight. It’s part of the Italian experience :) There’s earplugs in the bathroom cabinet. But if you’re a sensitive sleeper, please do not stay here.

Neighborhood highlights
The studio is located in the true heart of the historical center, Leonardo Da Vinci lived two houses down! You cannot get closer to the Duomo, it is literally at your doorstep.
This is the main Piazza of the city, you can see artists paint and musicians play violins, watch the traditional parades, and on some evenings hear live music from street bands.
No vehicles are allowed in this historical area, but in the mornings there’s delivery trucks and if you have the windows open you will hear them.
