Fernoch is a charming apartment set within a Victorian Manor House with far reaching views from the shores of Loch Awe.

A remote, tranquil, 'get-away from it all' location with stunning views of Benn Cruachan across the waters. Lochside access with fishing rights.

The space
Fernoch is a relaxing space with beautiful views across the gardens and also the imposing Ben Cruachan mountain. You will see deer in the gardens, woodpeckers, buzzards and often hear the owl at night.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a separate dining space in the living room.

We offer super fast Starlink WiFi which is free to use. In the living room you will find comfy tweed sofas, dining table and modern smart TV, DVD player and some DVDs, books and games for rainy days.

The bedrooms have comfortable beds with soft bedding, wardrobe and cupboard space. Hairdryers are in both rooms.

Guest access
You can stroll around the gardens down by the loch. This space is used by other visitors and residents. Please be respectful of this space.

Other things to note
The location is quite remote and the nearest food shop is Co-op in Inverary about 20 mins drive away.

PLEASE NOTE

WATER: The water to the property is from a local spring which is treated and perfectly safe for washing though not advised for drinking unless boiled first. It can be discoloured at times. Some drinking water will be left for your arrival.

ACCESS: THE APARTMENT IS ON THE SECOND FLOOR UP A SPIRAL STAIRCASE. NOT SUITABLE FOR DISABLED OR ELDERLY PEOPLE.

Neighborhood highlights

Inverary Castle is 20 minutes away, Kilchurn Castle 10 minutes and Oban under an hour away where you can get a ferry to the Isle of Mull. Glencoe, River Orchy and Glenfinnan all a must see.

Ideally placed for fabulous forest walks, enjoying the wildlife and birds of prey, particularly the Golden Eagle at Kintail Birds of Prey Centre at Eredine.

You could find yourself relaxing with a glass of wine along the side of the loch or if you fancy it, a spot of fishing, whatever takes your fancy. There are many pubs to grab some delicious food. Fish and chips at Inverary on the green is also a favourite outing of ours.
