Spacious comfortable well-equipped 4 bedroomed house which accommodated our group of 6 people with ease . Close to restaurants, supermarkets and speciality shops .

Fircliff was a fabulous place for our family get together. The house is very well equipped and worked brilliantly for our group of 11. There’s plenty of room for everyone to have their own space if needed and two nice rooms to meet up for meals and socialising. We loved our stay here. The cottage itself is beautiful, the photos don’t do it justice- cosy and thoughtfully converted. The location was perfect for us, quiet and surrounded by countryside but only a 5 min drive to the nearest town and nearby to family we were visiting in the local area. We were travelling with our toddler son and dog, so the fireguard and stair gates provided were much appreciated! We felt really relaxed for our whole stay and David was friendly and helpful. We would love to return and stay again.

What a great place to stay. We had a problem sorting out the TV so texted David and he talked us through it brilliantly. Hob was exactly the same as ours. Dishwasher easy to use. Shower was similar to ours so didn't need an engineering degree to work it. There was everything you could need for a stay. Very clean and comfortable.

A brilliant house in a fantastic location to explore Arran. Our host was fantastic with communication and very flexible due to ferry cancellations. The house is spacious, well presented and very warm. The outdoor space in the back garden is lovely with great views. We will be back again!

Thank you SO much for hosting us at the lovely Black Mount house! We thoroughly enjoyed 4 nights away with our 2 teenage daughters and our 2 labradors. The house felt so calm and relaxing, nice a cosy too. Rooms are very spacious, as are the en-suite and 2 other bathrooms. The views out every window were just gorgeous, especially with all the stunning autumn colours. Hot tub was toasty and added that extra special touch to our relaxing stay. Viewing the stars from the hot tub at night was amazing. Oban was within east reach by car or taxi and plenty of options for eating out. We ate at the Waterfront restaurant and Coast. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this beautiful and comfortable home to other guests. We’re sure you’ll enjoy it as much as we did.

We had a great stay at Ruth's place. The house everything we needed for our stay and had a very well equipped kitchen, we didn't want for anything. The house is in a quiet neighbourhood, and everywhere on Arran can be reached within 30mins, it is a great base for exploring the island. Ruth was quick to respond to questions we asked, and had left lots of useful information in the house. Thanks!

Beautiful location and views of the water. Close to distilleries too! Fireplace inside the home was really nice and very cozy.

Everything as described, a good host, Therese gave us information about local bakers and some eating establishments which were excellent. We would certainly go again, the weather was in our favour, which was another bonus

This was just what me and my friend needed. A couple of days away from working life and the stresses. Caravan was immaculate, had everything you needed and felt like a little haven and home from home

Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights away, caravan had everything we needed and more .

The caravan was lovely, the park peacefully and the wee welcome book with hints and tips left by Angeline was a lovely touch.

The lodge was great. Fantastic sized decking for eating etc. 2 parking spaces for cars. Comfortable living area with TV and some games and toys for the kids. The kitchen was well equipped with crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, everything you’d really need for a self catering holiday. A nice big gas hob with 5 burners and an electric oven. Also a dishwasher. A separate fridge and freezer with good space inside both. Bedrooms and bathrooms are good sized. The lodge was lovely and clean and obviously kept to a high standard. The only small downside was the in lodge WiFi could be a bit in and out. Although we were there on a school holiday weekend when the park was very busy. The caravan park is probably our favourite. It’s definitely the least “packed” in with people. So everything is never really that busy. If you visit try to take a day trip with the ferry at across from the entrance to the park. Not much in Rothesay but it’s a lovely trip/day out.

Hi the caravan as lovely as advertised however we were unaware that the pub amusements, pool, etc could only be used by ‘blue pass’ holders. We arrived after six when office was closed. Disappointed seven year old … saved us a fortune though thanks Gemma

If you are lucky enough to vist this gem do not use postcode , use Cally's detailed instructions. this place is an absolute gem peace and quiet and a well equipped cottage. Wild life abound we were there in November and saw otters, seals, sea eagles and heron's.

Great cosy little hut nestled in front of the woods! One of the more unique places we could choose for Ballachulish. Hosts were responsive and accommodating. On checkout day I dropped my shoulder bag somewhere -- and they retrieved it and I was able to get back my bag that same day (including my passport). Good spot.

This was our second weekend getaway and it was again, lovely and perfect. Lots of space to park, cosy inside and a great kitchen stepup. The air fryer was a lovely touch. The use of the hot tub was amazing, bathrobes and towels included and we watched the sunset and an incredible view of the stars. The first night was blowing an almighty gale but we were as snug as a bug in a rug. It was so quiet and so good for us to chill and relax. Thank you Catherine for stoking the fires.

I had a wonderful stay at the cottage and really enjoyed being on the island. Everyone was very welcoming and the nature is just breathtaking! The cottage was cozy and the heaters and fireplaces kept it nice and warm even in late November. Jill provided everything you could need and even made a welcome gift. I will miss watching the sunrise every morning with a cup of coffee at the kitchen window! Hope to be back soon.

Colene was a lovely host, with a beautiful property Hen Hoose, we really enjoyed staying there and would very much like to return their in one of their bigger places with our 3 children.

2nd stay at Gary & Leah’s home for visiting family. Great location & equipped with everything you would need. Will be back in the next few months.

Beautiful location so peaceful with wonderful scenery. The place had been done up which was a lovely surprise very modern, clean and had everything we needed. Loved our stay, great location to explore and lovely to come back to at the end of the day !
