The space
Overlooking Ostel Valley and hamlet of Millhouse, Auchgoyle is a lovely large, fully modernised, environmentally friendly, 19th century farmhouse. With four big double bedrooms (two super kings, one double and one twin) sweeping banisters, kitchen/dining room, spacious sitting room/library, & utility room. It is the perfect get-away for families or friends. It even has an office hide-away for any last-minute work and a playroom for children. WIFI available. Book the wood-fired stream-side sauna, beautifully crafted on the farm, overlooking temperate rainforest & the waterfall. No stag/hen-dos or smoking. If you need more space for family/friends, we also have the Ecolodge with two bedrooms (sleeps 4) as seen on the Times '24 best cabin stays in the UK). Wellies are recommended for walking across the farm (we do have a selection should you need them).

My work: Ecologist
Speaks English and Spanish
I'm an ecologist and we're working on the farm to dramatically increase wildlife. I used to work for the RSPB in Devon and the Forest of Bowland. I have worked in ecology in S. Africa. Zambia, Caribbean, New Zealand etc. My husband, David, and I are also runners- we're the first to have run the length of South America for wildlife and wildernesses- hence our wild running retreats.
