Right in the very business and shopping centre of Athens, overlooking Ermou Str, 50 m. from Syntagma Square, 50 m. from the historical centre of Athens (Plaka, Monastiraki, Thiseio) and within walking distance from the Acropolis, it's the perfect urban spot, and yet homey; this spacious studio apartment is equally ideal both for those who visit Athens for the first time, close to all landmark sightseeings, and business people and digital nomads who wish to be in the centre of things.

Neighborhood highlights

Ermou Street (Greek: Οδός Ερμού, Odos Ermou, "Hermes Street") is a one and a half kilometer-long road in central Athens, Greece, connecting Kerameikos archaeological site with the Syntagma Square through Monastiraki, Psiri and Thiseio.

With fashion shops and shopping centres promoting most international brands, it is in the top five most expensive shopping streets in Europe, and the tenth most expensive retail street in the world.

Its bustling sidewalks are lined with large stores, boutique designer shops, little snack bars and coffee shops.

As part of the redesigned city plan drawn up in 1833, Ermou Street was to become the main thoroughfare of modern Athens. However, the course of the street was blocked by the Kapnikarea Church, which is located approximately in the middle of Ermou Street. Therefore it was to be demolished in 1834. Eventually, however, Ludwig von Bayern was able to convince his son Otto, the king of Greece, that the church was of great art-historical importance. It was built in the 11th century on the remains of a Greek temple. Thus, Ermou Street was laid out bypassing the church.

Ermou Street and Ermou Studio are easily accessible by metro red line 2 and blue line 3, Syntagma station or by green line 1 and blue line 3 to Monastiraki station.
