This is why I bought this place. It's perfectly situated in the SoCo and Bouldin neighborhoods—just one mile from downtown. This stylish retreat offers the perfect balance of relaxation and accessibility, nestled in a quiet setting yet only steps away from Austin’s most vibrant hotspots.
You can walk or bike to iconic destinations like Zilker Park, Barton Springs, and the Austin City Limits (ACL) festival grounds, or explore the legendary South Congress (SoCo) district, known for its eclectic mix of restaurants, boutiques, and live music venues. Or now South Lamar where they are trying to compete with SoCo (they call it SoLo :-). Whether you’re here for business, a weekend getaway, or an extended stay, The Eleanor delivers the ideal combination of comfort, convenience, and Austin’s signature charm.
OUTDOOR DECK
One of our favorite parts of the Elenaor is the yard/deck area with a big umbrella and outdoor furniture. Perfect for lounging, writing, BBQing, and sun worshipping as well as enjoying a beverage as the sun goes down. We have a fire pit that is perfect for smores and keeping you warm on the those crisp nights.
DOG FRIENDLY
We are huge lovers of 4-leggers so we welcome dogs and other pets. There is a yard with a gated fence where the pups can run around and chase balls for hours.
THE SPACE
This chic styled bungalow has been carefully designed to offer a stylish and functional living experience. It features an open floor plan, combining a living area, dining nook, and workspace with a cozy bedroom and modern bathroom. The design is perfect for business executives looking for a quiet and productive space or couples wanting to explore everything Austin has to offer. The home is well-suited for up to 4 guests and even allows small gatherings of up to 10 people, making it perfect for intimate get-togethers or small celebrations.
The home’s interior is bright and airy, with large windows allowing plenty of natural light to flood the space. It comes fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a queen-size bed with luxury linens, a spacious living area with a smart TV, and high-speed Wi-Fi for streaming, work, or entertainment. PRIVATE BACKYARD
One of the standout features of this property is the private, gated backyard, ideal for relaxing after a day exploring Austin. The yard is pet-friendly, offering a secure space for your furry friend to enjoy the outdoors. You’ll also find a cozy outdoor seating area, perfect for sipping coffee in the morning or enjoying a glass of wine in the evening. With two dedicated parking spaces, you’ll never have to worry about finding parking in this busy part of town.
PARKING
There are parking spots for you – both spots at the end of the driveway. Please pull up all the way so that the 3rd spot can still be accessible to the guest in the other unit. There is also free street parking. Note that there is a elementary school across the street and from 7:30am to 8:00am and 2:50pm-3:15pm it is crazy busy in front of the house on weekdays as parents come to pick up there kids.
PET FRIENDLY
We know how important pets are, so we happily welcome your furry companions! Please ensure they are cleaned up after, both inside and out, and kept indoors at night for the comfort of all guests.

NOTES:
The Unit #B is at the end of the drive way on the left side of the property. You enter through the gate.
When you leave the driveway and approach the gate, there is a curb and drop-off – Watch your step!
Inside the unit there is a step to enter the bathroom – watch your step
When you enter the bedroom from the living room there is a step – watch your step here as well.
There are 2 parking paces and possibly a 3rd if needed as well as street parking.
Dogs need to be kept inside at night so they don’t disturb the neighbors
Neighbors are in close proximity due to small lots so manage music and noise accordingly.

Guest access
The entire unit is available to guests as is the backyard and deck/patio attached to the unit (Unit B).
The shed is available upon request from onwner.
Keep gate closed when not entering or exiting property.
Other things to note
Make sure and watch your step when entering the property from drive way due to step from down from curb to rocks.
Inside the unit, from the living room area, there are small steps to the bathroom and a single step to the bedroom so watch your step as you enter each area.
