✔ Your private entrance is on the east side of the home offering complete privacy to come and go. This east side of the house is exclusive to your Airbnb and not a shared space. The back patio seen in the pictures is your private space, not shared.

Relax in your exclusive outdoor shower house with hot water and a spacious farmhouse-style sink station. Please note that my friendly cat, Tinkerbell, may extend a warm welcome. However, if her presence is unwelcome, kindly let me know, and I'll ensure she finds her way out.

Nestled in a prime location in central OBX, with private parking available for one vehicle, and a laid-back host committed to honoring your privacy. Please note, there is no television, encouraging you to fully embrace the tranquility of your surroundings.

*Please note: I have a medium size dog that roams the property. Her name is "Sandy Banks". She is 13 years old and is very friendly. She does bark at the mailman and sometimes when guests first arrive. I also have a 16 year old cat named Tinkerbell, she is extremely friendly. She may try to get in as you come and go, just give her the boot! Neither animal is allowed in the Airbnb.

Guest access
You will have access to the entire efficiency apartment with private entrance, plus private patio with outdoor shower house, there is a half bathroom inside of your space, the shower is just outside your sliding door, see pictures. No shared spaces. You will have access to the outdoor equipment such as bikes and kayaks + SUPs (must be able to transport kayaks/SUPs or can hire my father "DJ" for delivery to local launch access) He lives on the property.

✔ NO ANIMALS. PLEASE RESPECT THIS REQUEST, THIS IS MY HOME. No animals will be allowed in this space. I have several pet friendly spaces, 2 of them on this property. Feel free to reach out if you need a place that allows animals. If you show up with an animal, I will be approaching you in person and asking you to leave the space. I will see if I have a pet friendly space available and offer it to you if so. There are 2 pet friendly units on this same property.

✔ The room has it's own air return and vented HVAC for your comfort and for excellent quality air flow. Should you need the tempurature adjusted, please send me a message. I have remote access to the heating and cooling system so I can adjust it anytime from anywhere!

✔ There is no indoor shower. There is a formal shower house immediately outside the sliding door of your space. This has a rainfull shower head + hand held sprayer. Completely private shower house with tin roof. There is also lighting installed inside the shower for night time. There is a bench and shelving inside the shower. There is a half bath inside your room with a toilet. There is a farmhouse style sink outside for private guest use as well as another sink inside your suite with the kitchenette.

✔ Complimentary bikes are also provided for your enjoyment. While we strive to maintain their availability at all times, please understand that on occasion, maintenance may be required, potentially impacting their accessibility until resolved.

✔ Hurricane season is June to November, please see Airbnb policy regarding weather events: "Weather events, natural conditions, and diseases that are excluded from our Extenuating Circumstances Policy" There will be no refunds related to weather events. If this concerns you I encourage you to purchase trip insurance.
