The space
Double Dog Dare sleeps 11, with several levels of decks with views of both the sound and the ocean. Enjoy modern, comfortable, and new furnishings. The first floor features a king-bedroom suite that overlooks the sound. Another king bedroom shares a bath with a bunk room (twin over queen beds). The media/bedroom serves as a second living room with a queen-sleep sofa to accommodate additional guests.

The top floor features an additional king-bedroom suite, as well as a living room, dining room, and gourmet kitchen. Spacious granite countertops, nearly new appliances, and a pantry complete the fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy sweeping views from the living room.

Double Dog Dare includes access to all the amenities of Black Dog Harbor, including a boat ramp, boat slip, basketball hoop and cornhole game. Enjoy fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding and boating from the harbor, dock and gazebo, and boat ramp. Bring your own or rent a kayak, paddleboard or boat from a local vendor and explore the sound. Linens and bath towels are always included.

Salvo is quite narrow, so while you'll be overlooking the sound, the beach is only a quarter mile away, a short walk or bike ride, pack your car with chairs and a cooler and park near beach access or drive your SUV on the beach.

This home accommodates 11 (maximum of 8 adults).

We provide 9 beach chairs for your use.

Well-behaved Adult dogs (maximum of two) are welcome with payment of a non-refundable pet fee ($250 per dog, per stay). No puppies - meaning no dogs under 1 year.

There are two security cameras at this property. One in the car parking area and one on the top floor deck facing the street. Neither camera faces the interior of the home and is used for security purposes only.
