Luxury romantic getaway steps from the beach. This one-of-a-kind luxury cottage renovated and designed by Cottage + Sea with projects featured in multiple magazines such as Architectural Digest, Apartment Therapy, Origin, Coastal Living and more.
It is situated one block from Moonlight Beach and surfing destination spot D-Street. Lavish finishes and decor such as West Elm, Article, Loloi, Industry West, Castlery and many more. Fully stocked kitchen with all the essentials including from Smeg, KitchenAid, Nespresso, Keurig, Crate & Barrel, Pottery Barn, Caraway, Williams Sonoma.
Fully renovated 1930s home with character includes quartz countertops, restored gas fireplace, free standing tub, a full house water filtration system, air conditioning, heat, and more.. Includes two gas fire pits outdoors and BBQ grill. Outdoor surf shower after returning from the beach.
Location is steps (1 block) to world renowned Moonlight Beach (volleyball, fire pits, snack area, nice beach) and D street (for surfing). Also a block or two to the train station, Lazy Acre grocery store as well as restaurants in the heart of Encinitas.
Night stay includes coffee pods. Includes free WiFi, cable TV, free standing tub, walk in shower. Bed includes memory foam mattress, clean and cozy bedding.

Max occupancy - 2 people on the premises at all times. No unregistered guests allowed.

HOUSE RULES:
1. No smoking of any kind inside or anywhere on the property. $1k deep cleaning, remediation and restoration plus damages and loss of rent during extra cleaning. Immediate departure.
2. No unregistered guests are allowed to stay overnight and only 2 people max including registered guests on premises at any/all times. $350 per person per night. Immediate departure.
3. No unregistered guests or visitors allowed on the premises unless written approval and only 2 people max including registered guests on premises at any/all times. $150 per person per occurrence. Immediate departure.
4. Do not give your entry code to anyone other than registered guests. $250 per occurrence. Immediate departure.
5. No pets allowed on the premises at any time. $1k deep cleaning, remediation and restoration plus damages and loss of rent during extra cleaning. Immediate departure.
6. The home is in a residential neighborhood and therefore no parties are allowed AND only 2 people max including registered guests on premises at any/all times. See above.
Please note quiet hours between 10pm - 7am.
7. No illegal activity, substances or firearms allowed on the property. $2k fine. Immediate departure.
8. Commercial use of space is prohibited and will result in immediate departure, and $7500 fine per occurrence for using space for commercial purposes, including but not limited to photoshoots or filming of head shots for business, brands or products shoots, lifestyle shoots, podcasts, etc.
9. Guests must immediately inform the host of any water leaks, plumbing issues, electrical, HVAC or other maintenance concerns that may arise during their stay that they are aware of. Prompt reporting helps prevent damage and allows us to address the situation quickly. If there is a water leak, guest agrees to let us to shut the main water off if needed to prevent damage. By booking this property, guests agree to provide reasonable and immediate access to the host or designated repair personnel for the purpose of evaluating and resolving such issues in a timely manner. This cooperation is essential to ensure the comfort and safety of all guests and to maintain the integrity of the property. If guest refuses to cooperate or provide access, they assume liability for damages caused as a result.
10. Tampering with or disabling any security‑related device is strictly prohibited. This includes the exterior Ring doorbell camera, network equipment (such as routers or access points), and smart door locks like Yale plug systems. Tampering covers actions like covering, un‑plugging, obstructing, or otherwise interfering with these devices. These systems are installed for the safety of both guests and the property. Any violation will be considered a serious breach of house rules and will result in immediate removal and reservation cancellation without refund.
