The Loft at Church House is a characterful two-bedroom apartment for four, thoughtfully furnished with an eclectic mix of old and new. Expect comfortable beds, interesting interiors and everything you need for an easy stay by the sea.
Scarborough Castle, the harbour, beach and town are all within walking distance, and you’ll have your own private parking space.
The space
The Loft is a spacious, characterful two-bedroom apartment within Church House, a former chapel dating back to 1701 in the heart of Scarborough’s Old Town.
We’ve designed the space to feel more like a home you’d want to stay in than a conventional holiday let, mixing original character with carefully chosen furniture, artwork and modern comforts.
The main bedroom has a king-size TV bed, with a second comfortable double bedroom. There’s a relaxed living space, fully equipped kitchen and everything you need for anything from a weekend by the sea to a longer stay on the Yorkshire Coast. Fresh cotton bedding, towels, Wi-Fi, Netflix, tea and coffee are all provided.
Church House sits beneath Scarborough Castle and just moments from South Bay. The harbour, seafront and town centre are all easily reached on foot, so once you arrive there’s very little need for the car.
You’ll also have your own private parking space- something of a rarity this close to the seafront.
Church House is independently owned and run, and The Loft is our only guest apartment. We want staying here to feel easy, personal and distinctly Scarborough.
