Welcome to this cool little cottage with free off-street carpark & convenience to town! The reviews say it all - this is a little haven with a sunny garden - a 'home away from home'.

You'll be in the village and easily able to indulge in local delights like Arobake for freshly baked bread and Aro Cafe for great coffee plus takeaway food choices.

The funky & iconic Cuba Street is a 15-minute walk away for more eateries, bars, great shopping and nightlife!

The space
Enjoy city fringe living and sit in the sun with your morning coffee. Then relax after a busy day with Netflix & a beer from the local Garage Project brewery before heading out to town for late night entertainment & a quick Uber ride home.

There's two bedrooms and a sleepout - all with queen-sized beds. The 4.5 meter long carpark is right outside the main bedroom and suitable for a small/medium sized car (it fits a SUV okay). The spiral stairs lead up to the workplace study and second bedroom.

The kitchen might be small but it works well with an oven, full fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Everybody can fit around the antique table too.

The bathroom has a shower and separate bath tub to soak after a long day. There's also a washing machine - plus a dryer in the deck cupboard.

There's no additional charge for groups, and no cleaning fee ... plus an attractive discount for a month or more. This place isn't set up for toddlers.

You may hear the neighbors also enjoying their homes & gardens and we ask that you'll also be respectful with noise.

It’s okay to vape/smoke outside in the garden or covered porch.

The old clawfoot bath is a delight to soak after a long day. It's original and has been resprayed but does have paint chipping off.

The cottage is on a busy street. The carpark is suitable for a small/medium sized car. A larger SUV fits okay (about 4.5 meters long) although it sticks out a little. But we ensure people are still able to walk past on the pavement. When parking, we slow down within the 30km area and usually reverse into the space.

The cottage setup isn't suitable for infants and toddlers.

For security, we have an external security camera located at the end of the long walkway beside the cottage.

Aro Street is a cool little community close to Cuba Street, which is known as Wellington's most colorful street with quirky cafes and restaurants. There's also record, vintage and fashion shops plus art galleries.

Lonely Planet dubbed Wellington City as “coolest little capital in the world”. We love this cosmopolitan city and we think you will too.

The Pohill Reserve up the road is also good for walking and mountain biking. You'll probably hear birds singing in the morning from the ZealandiaTe Māra a Tāne native wildlife sanctuary. And the main Victoria University campus in Kelburn is a short 15 minute uphill walk away.
