The Chalet de La Baie is a magnificent refuge directly in the middle of the forest, with no neighbors nearby. It is located in a bay of the Coulombe River that connects to Lac Aylmer (with small boats). It is the perfect place to relax while enjoying the sauna, spa and nature! While strolling along the river you will have the chance to see: beavers, river otters, different birds and a wonderful landscape! Fishing is available! Welcome to nature lovers!

The space
The cottage is very unifying with its open area on the ground floor. You can take in the water views from the living room. On the same floor there is: A bedroom with 1 queen size bed, a bathroom with a washer-dryer, a smart TV with Netflix, a Wii, internet with 60 mbps fiber, underfloor heating throughout the ground floor, wood stove for extra heating. (wood provided)

Upstairs there are: two large bedrooms each with 1 queen bed and 2 single beds (trundle beds), a bathroom and a sauna.

In the winter season, snowmobilers are welcome! It is possible to leave directly from the chalet to reach the federated trails. The garage is heated and available to store your snowmobile. The outdoor fireplace is available to warm you up. (wood provided) The hot tub and sauna are available to relax. Snowshoeing and cross-country skiing trails are accessible close to the chalet. There are 8 pairs of snowshoes at your disposal. Ice fishing is allowed on the lake.

In summer, you can go kayaking (2), paddle boarding (1), canoeing or pedal boating on Lac Aylmer or the Coulombe River, which are available 24/7. It is possible to add an electric motor to the canoe. For swimming, there is about 2 ft of water. The bottom is muddy and there are aquatic plants. While strolling on the water, you can swim in the river where there are many rocky beaches. Also, there is beautiful Stratford Beach 10 minutes away. Fishing lovers can find a wide variety of fish (walleye, pike, largemouth bass, yellow perch...) directly in the bay and at the mouth of the river and the lake near the small bridge. There are several activities available to you in the area. (The Vélo-Rail, bike path, Stratford beach, Mont Ham, the Cascade Trail, mini-put...) The Chez Marlo snack bar is at the end of the cottage street.

A shed is available to get firewood for both indoors and outdoors. It's included in your package!
