The space
We would like to first thank you for looking at our beautiful little slice of heaven. Please read any and all of our 5 star reviews who love our home almost as much as we do!! :)
As you approach our home it is situated directly on the water!!!! The small inlet and peninsula will greet you as you pull into the parking area and a space for up to 4 cars. The home has several entry points, but the main door on the left hand side enters into a cozy cottage galley kitchen which is small, but well appointed and has everything you’ll need for general cooking and entertaining.
As you leave the kitchen, you’ll enter a very warm, inviting and relaxing large “Open concept” living room with a spacious leather sectional and table. The ceilings are high and have beautiful large timber beams and hard wood floors. There is also an additional table for games, snacking or meals off to the side.
Off the living room is an updated bathroom with a full bath and has all the towels and supplies you’ll need.
There is a beautiful all wood paneled bedroom with a newer plush queen bed and also a set of bunk beds for the kids.
We saved the best for last,... off the Living Room is a large Sun Porch which was remodeled and heat was added with stunning views of the lake. Several seating areas, beautiful spacious sectional, comfy chairs and a large expandable wooden table with eight chairs.
There are massive new 6’ windows to keep the views open and the ever present gentle breeze flowing throughout the house! Most would agree that this is the most iconic and relaxing room in the house!!
As we head up to the second floor, there are 2 beautiful bedrooms, both with premium quality queen beds and AC Units. One bedroom has a cute and small kind of funky looking full bath :) while the other has an amazing and private Juliette porch with additional seating and incredible views of the lake.
The inside is great, but the outdoor area is where the real magic is! First, the views and genuine peace and serenity is simply fantastic. At night you can sit around the new patio and campfire, sit in our comfortable new Adirondack chairs and enjoy the sunsets and nightlife sounds.
Fishing is really incredible and easy to catch right off the dock or off the peninsula! Large mouth, small mouth and Calico bass, (crappie), Pickerol, Perch, and even a few Massive Carp and trout. At night the catfish are almost too easy to catch! We also offer the use of 3 kayaks, a canoe and also a small aluminum boat to explore the lake or fish!
We provide some sand toys for the kids and floats, Kan-Jam, Spike Ball and other fun sports items. A few beach chairs and other folding chairs for additional seating outside.
Enjoy your mornings waking up lake side, sipping coffee from the private balcony off the master bedroom or from the large sun Porch!
Soak up the afternoon sun in the lake, fish off the dock or play catch or a game in the large yard. Take a couple kayaks out or a canoe and just enjoy the peace!
As the sun starts to set, enjoy a family dinner by cooking outdoors on the grill. With many options, you can eat inside the sun porch or outdoors on the large picnic table as you watch the sunset dip right across the other side of the lake.
Nights by the lake are filled with fun and laughter and sit by the fire, gaze at the beautiful stars or maybe even do a little night fishing for catfish.

Guest access
All guests will have full access to the main floor and second floor of the house as well as the yard as well as the dock and use of the lake. Guests are encouraged to bring their own motor boats.
Seasonal Items:
Most summer items including the dock, outdoor furniture, fishing poles and boats etc are typically out after Memorial Day and are put away in late September in preparation for the cold winter months! ;)

A few things to consider:
It is a quiet, close-knit, family neighborhood, so out of respect and consideration to them we have some policies to adhere to.
(If you have a question or have an exception to any of these policies just reach out and we can discuss it further).
We have several security cameras located outside and are in place to protect both the guest as well as the property. These cameras are also required by our insurance and are not be be unplugged or altered.
Quiet Hours: 11pm to 7am. Everyone wants to have fun and relax but there are some elderly neighbors and most others have kids that also need sleep to recharge for the next day of fun!
As a reminder there is no smoking or vaping on the property. Please note we have family members who have medical concerns and can’t have smoke in or near the house in any way.
Unfortunately we do not allow parties at the house, it’s our family home with our young children, not a college frat house. Although we DO want people to have fun, relax and unwind, but respecting our home and having a mature spirit is what we all expect in this amazing Airbnb community. :)
- In that understanding, we only allow 10 people on the property at any time, and 4 cars, again out of respect to the neighborhood.
