Albert was an accommodating host. His place had everything we needed. It was an easy, comfortable stay for a very reasonable price!

Six of us stayed over the weekend. We were very comfortable and Brad was very helpful and responsive. House had everything that we needed. Brad is a great host. Would 100% recommend a stay.

Great stay overall — just be mindful of seasonal comfort! We had a lovely time at this beautiful property — it’s well-maintained, peaceful, and has a lot of charm. The host was responsive and check-in was easy. Just a heads-up for future guests: the property has seasonal settings, so you’ll either get heat or A/C depending on the time of year, not both. It made things a bit uncomfortable during a weather transition, but manageable. Still, the beauty and uniqueness of the space definitely made up for it. Would recommend with that one caveat in mind!

booked this charming property in Worcester as a convenient spot to visit my son, who attends college nearby, and for family weekend at Boston University, where my daughter just started school. Hotels in Boston were priced from $600 to $1,200 per night, so finding this home was ideal. I brought along my elderly mother, who is in the early stages of Alzheimer’s, and I was hoping for a place that would feel like a true home—a space where we could spend quality time together in the evenings and early mornings. This home exceeded our expectations. The description was spot on, and the space was everything we needed and more. I especially enjoyed sitting outside by the fireplace each morning for my prayers and reflections. The rooms were fantastic, and watching our football game on Sunday night on the "big screen wall" was a highlight. Many thanks to the hosts for providing such a welcoming and memorable place for our family.

Great stay! House was clean and spacious for our party of 8. We had everything we needed for our weekend stay in January. We traveled with our twin 18 month olds and had access to playpens and a high chair for which I was very grateful! They even had some books and legos for the kids to play with!

Exactly as pictured - beautiful small one level renovated old carriage house. Such a cute aesthetic and a great neighbourhood. Some ants but nothing worrisome. Host was incredibly responsive and very helpful. They even had a new hot tub! Many towels available (usually uncommon for airbnbs). Thermostat was easy to use and kept the place at a comfortable temperature. Linens were lovely - soft and cosy and a range of many pillows to choose from. Couches were very long and could host a small gathering with ease. Tv was easy to direct and easy to connect our Firestick to. Book and binder with many local recommendations. Kitchen had just about anything you could possibly need!! Cookie sheets? Blender? Large salad bowls? Platter boards? Garlic salt? Slow cooker? They had it!! We visited during an ice storm and the hosts were very kind and responsive - helpful that they live next door. They also have a landscaping team to help shovel and salt the driveway/sidewalks. Just the perfect weekend rental for 3 moms and 3 dancers in town for a dance competition. The house had everything we needed, was clean, and very comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the baths spacious and well stocked. It was in a great location to commute to the DCU Center. Thanks so much for a wonderful weekend!

This was the most effortless and perfect stay, The house accommodated everything we needed and had such a lovely homey feel. Great area as well, felt safe and comfy. Would definitely stay again !

We were delighted with the property and it was perfect for my wife and I. The house is small but the use of space is excellent. There is ample living space, bedrooms, dining and kitchen. The space seems bigger because it flow out onto a patio that connects to a veranda. There is even a fire pit if you are so in inclined. We had meals outside and enjoyed the adirondack chairs on the dock. They provided kayaks that we used everyday, the lake was like glass and so peaceful. Nearby are plenty of restaurants. We also ventured to Peterborough and to a local apple orchard for picking apples and freshly made cider donuts. This stay exceeded expectations.

Heather & Gene were amazing hosts. The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described in the listing. Heather and Gene were both incredibly accommodating and responsive, making check-in and communication seamless. The location was perfect—close to Wachussett Mtn and the neighborhood was quiet and safe. I would highly recommend staying here and would love to return on my next visit!

The value for this house was amazing. My friends and I had an absolute blast at Brenda’s property and we would totally return. The house is spacious and the view overlooking the lake is beautiful. Everything was clean and tidy and Brenda was a great host - super helpful and responsive. Would recommend this stay!

Great place to stay!!! Santhini was very responsive to our questions and was quick to help us out with anything we needed. The house is great and we truly enjoyed staying there. Santhini was thoughtful of keeping a small play area and crib for our baby . The house is located in a calm and serene place and is a great place for relaxing and enjoying the nature. The house had all amenities and was truly rustic and exactly matched the description provided. The house is very well managed and it has everything that we are look for when taking a vacation from piano, guitar, various books, indoor mini golf, and so on. Great place to stay and kudos to Joshua and Santhini for everything!!!

The house was perfect for our needs. There was space to gather and hang out, and the bedrooms were comfortable. There were lots of little touches that made us feel welcomed. The hosts were very communicative and responsive.

Thank you Jennifer for opening your home to us. The snow was an unexpected addition! Wish it had been warmer to be outside, however New England weather is always unpredictable in the Spring! Hard to believe this quiet little spot is in Worcester. Close to everything fun…restaurants, activities, shopping…but far enough removed from the city to feel like you’re in the country. Water view was beautiful!

We were in town visiting my son who goes to school in Boston. The views were gorgeous and the area is great for long walks. The space was exactly as described with all the amenities. Would love to come back when it’s warmer and enjoy the lake.

Was a great space for me and my group of friends in town for a convention. Plenty of space to stretch out between 3-4 single people and a couple. Enough extra space to squeeze an air mattress if needed. Incredibly clean and nice overall. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood, surrounded by all the entertainment and dining of the city minutes away. Exactly what we needed for our group just needing space to sleep, relax, and groom ourselves between our busy convention days and nightime outings. We hope to book again next year when our convention returns!

5 of us stayed at Michelle’s place for 2 nights for my 2 year olds birthday and my 5 year olds spring break. It was the perfect place to stay with the kids as they LOVED the play room and all the toys. We took a day trip to Great Wolf Lodge which was only 25 mins away. We also went for a nice hike at Dunn State Park that was 15 mins away. The kids had a great vacation and the adults enjoyed the beautiful lake views and hot tub. We would definitely stay again.

We had an amazing stay, first off, walking in the place smelled amazing and the clean relaxing decor and night lights made it so cozy. The beds were inviting and having two bathroom was the icing on the cake! It snowed while we visited but the yard is amazing!! It has outdoor seating, a grill, and fire pit. The landscaping is definitely professional and tasteful like everything else he provided. We can’t wait for warm weather so we can enjoy the outdoors more! Great location - walkable to everything centrally in town. Quiet and peaceful little street. The house itself is filled with all kinds of quirky character at nearly 175 years old! It was fun to stay here and we'd consider it again - was good for kids and our family.

This was my second stay at "the mushroom house". Everything was as amazing as it was for my last trip. The house was immaculate when I got there and was decorated for Easter and even had Easter treats left to sample. The house is very comfortable and well laid out. It's fun watching all of the wildlife in the yard including the bunnies for Easter! Communication with Celeste is amazing! I don't think it ever took more than 15 minutes to get a response. I look forward to my next visit to "the mushroom house"!

I’ve never stayed at such a stately home! Gorgeous home on top of a hill with only one other house around. Nice pond to see from the lovely front porch. Or you can relax on the back deck, where it is nice and peaceful. The kitchen was amazing and huge. The only thing we could have used were wash cloths. Host was very kind and responsive with us.
