Welcome to The Library House by Amys Casa! Incredible Centro location close to Santa Lucia, Santa Ana, Plaza Grande & Santiago. This colonial house is on a quiet, non-bus, street. It comes with dedicated off street, covered parking next-door. The bedroom is very large with a comfy king bed and 18' beamed ceilings. Across the street is the Merida English Library.
The kitchen has gas cooking and is very well equipped. Additionally there is a Murphy bed in the entry.

The space
The entry features a local artist mural on the door and a queen size murphy bed. The king size bed is very comfortable with good, cotton bedding. You won't think you are in a short term rental with how well equipped with kitchen is, yes, sharp knives too! The patio and plunge pool, and outdoor shower, are the cats meow after a long day exploring Mérida. Be sure to hang the hammock outside.

Neighborhood highlights

Mornings I like to head to the market in Santiago for fresh juice and fruit and the days produce followed by a stop at Cafe Organico for a tasty morsel and coffee. Maiz, Canela, Y Cilantro is fabulous for lunch. It is a very intimate setting as the kitchen is open to the dining area. Just one meal is usually on the menu, you're dining in someones home. Can't decide on what to eat for dinner? Mercado 60 is close and has a food truck court feel to it. Everyone gets what they want. Pola for ice cream! Don't miss it. For music Dzalbay Cantina is amazing! Love this place and it's two blocks away. Merida English Library is across the street. They offer free house tours and weekly events. Merida spa is two blocks away for massages and manicures.
I am really excited to announce that I will be stocking the house with sulfate free and paraben free shampoo, conditioner, and soap from La Abeja Obrera, a local business I fell in love with on a recent trip to Merida! Enjoy.
