Burleigh Lodge is a spacious home away from home in the heart of the Cotswolds with spectacular views of the Golden Valley.

Perched just below the picturesque village of Minchinhampton, the Lodge is surrounded by private gardens including a decked area for alfresco dining while enjoying the breath-taking views, a patio area with hot tub and a lawned area with a pretty floral border.

The space
The Lodge itself has three double bedrooms (one with en suite shower room) and a family bathroom upstairs. One of these double bedrooms can also be converted into a twin room.

On the ground floor is the kitchen, which is fully-equipped with gas hob, oven, separate fridge and freezer, a dishwasher and coffee machine. The kitchen also has a dedicated dining area with seating for six people. Also on the ground floor there is a snug/tv room which has a sofa bed and a larger family room with a conservatory, giving stunning views over the Stroud valley (the garden can also be accessed via this room). Furthermore, there is a shower room with WC and a utility room with separate washing machine and tumble dryer, which are free and fully available to guests.

The hot tub is wood fired and it takes about 3 hrs to heat.

Burleigh Lodge has two entrance points; via the utility room leading to the kitchen or via the conservatory.

Other things to note
Please note that the lodge is a self sufficient holiday cottage and not serviced during your stay. Linen and towels are provided. There is a starter kit for the kitchen with washing up liquid, sponge and hand soap in the bathrooms as well as some toilet paper and wood for the hot tub. Beyond this guests are required to be self sufficient and bring their own.

You can take advantage of the nearby Burleigh Court Cotswolds hotel & restaurant with superb food & bar terraces. You can also use their wellness garden when you book in for lunch, afternoon tea or dinner: There is a minimum spend of £20 per person and you need to pre-book.

Burleigh Lodge looks out over the Chalford Valley, also known as the Golden Valley due to the wealth that was created in the valley from the processing of wool. Ancient woodlands with streams and hidden picnic places are within easy reach. There is no better place to go for a stroll so bring your walking shoes and get exploring.
