Bunkhouse on High is a thoughtfully designed group stay in downtown Comfort, made for weekends away, Hill Country getaways, and time together with friends or family. Sleeping up to 8 in built-in bunks, the space is set up for gathering, with a long table, full kitchen, and private courtyard with a lined stock-tank pool/hot tub. A shared three-sink vanity and two separate shower/toilet rooms make getting ready easy while still giving everyone room to settle in comfortably.

The space
Located just off High Street, this modern Texas studio blends comfort, function, and a great in-town location. Inside, you’ll find built-in bunks, a large dining table, a leather sofa, a full kitchen, and central heat and air. The layout is especially well suited for small groups who want to stay together under one roof without giving up comfort or convenience.

Outside, the private courtyard offers a relaxed place to gather after a day exploring Comfort’s shops, local events, wineries, and surrounding Hill Country. Whether you’re here for a girls’ weekend, a family stay, a celebration, or simply a few days away, Bunkhouse on High is designed to make time together feel easy.

The Bunkhouse is located behind our storefront on High Street. Street parking is free but first-come, first-served.

Small group celebrations and event-related stays are welcome; we simply ask guests to keep outdoor music and late-night noise respectful to our neighbors. No one lives onsite.
