Welcome to Blazing Sandals, a charming 3-bedroom, 2-bath coastal bungalow located on the peaceful west end of Oak Island. Sleeping up to 6 guests, this home offers the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and laid-back island living. Enjoy being less than a mile from Oak Island’s beautiful south-facing beaches and just steps from the Intracoastal Waterway.

Tucked away from the busier areas of the island, this location offers a quiet retreat while still being just minutes from grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping. With easy access from Middleton Avenue and Oak Island Drive, you’ll have everything you need for a relaxing beach getaway.

The spacious yard offers plenty of room to enjoy the outdoors, with a fully fenced area perfect for pups. Start your day with coffee on the front patio, spend the afternoon relaxing after a beach trip, or gather around the fire pit in the evening for marshmallows, stories, and stargazing. The property also includes ample parking and space to store kayaks, canoes, and beach gear. Beach chairs and toys are provided to help make your days in the sand easy and fun.

Inside, you’ll find a comfortable, updated home with a fully equipped kitchen featuring brand-new appliances, granite countertops, a farmhouse sink, and plenty of storage and prep space. Whether you’re cooking a family meal or brewing your morning coffee, the kitchen has everything you need, including a drip coffee maker, Keurig, toaster, blender, microwave, and charcoal grill.

The open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area creates the perfect space to gather, relax, and enjoy time together. The dining table seats up to 6, with additional seating at the kitchen bar. The washer and dryer are conveniently located off the dining area for added convenience.

When it’s time to unwind, choose from three comfortable bedrooms. The primary suite features a queen bed and private en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom also offers a queen bed, while the third bedroom includes a full bed. These bedrooms share access to the second full bathroom.

Up to 2 dogs are welcome. No cats or other pets accepted.
Washer and dryer available for guest use.
Hand soap and dish soap provided.
Shampoo, bath soap, and laundry detergent are not provided.
Starter supplies of paper towels, trash bags, dishwasher detergent, and toilet paper are provided; additional supplies may be needed for longer stays.
The Beach Pantry convenience store is less than a mile away for any last-minute essentials.
