This updated & pet friendly bungalow is under a mile to the beach! 3 bedrooms & 2 full baths sleeps 6. The open concept living, dining, & fully stocked kitchen is perfect for family time. Relax around the fire pit in the backyard or sip your coffee on the front porch. The shed contains all the beach gear with extra storage. Linens provided and beds made!

The space
Less than a mile to Oak Island’s south-facing beaches, Blazing Sandals is the perfect 3 bedroom, 2 bath home on the west end. Sleeping 6, steps from the intracoastal waterway and less than a mile from the shore, this adorable home is situated a block off Middleton and Oak Island Drive. The west end of the island is quiet and peaceful, away from the hustle of the local business district. Minutes from grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping.

Plenty of parking in the front of the house. Ample space next to the home to store canoes, kayaks, and all your beach gear. We offer a selection of beach chairs and toys for a day on the sand. Cozy up with good book and a cup of coffee on the front patio. Enjoy an evening under the stars as you toast marshmallows and unwind around the the firepit. The entire yard is fully fenced, perfect for the dogs.

Inside, you’ll find a fully-equipped cook’s kitchen with brand new appliances, granite counters, a farmhouse sink and plenty of counter and storage space to spread out. A drip coffee maker, Keurig machine, and plenty of mugs will make sure you are well-caffeinated for the day. A toaster, blender, microwave and charcoal Weber grill are also available. Extra cookware, silverware, dinnerware, and glassware fill the cabinets so you are not constantly washing dishes.

The kitchen leads into the open concept living and dining room where the whole family can spread out. The dining room has access to the washer/dryer as well as the backyard. The dining room table can seat up to 6, with extra seating at the kitchen bar.

When its time for bed, pick your favorite spot to retire. The primary bedroom with en-suite full bath has a queen bed. Choose from 2 other bedrooms, one with a queen bed, the other with a full bed. Both secondary bedrooms have access to a full bathroom.

Things to know.
- Minimum age requirement to rent is 25 years old.
- Up to 2 dogs are welcome, but no cats or other pets accepted.
- Washer and dryer is available for use during your stay.
- Hand soap and dish soap are provided.
- Shampoo/bath soap and laundry detergent are not provided.
- Some paper towels, garbage bags, dishwasher detergent/packs and toilet paper provided to get you started, but you may need more during your stay.
- The Beach Pantry is a convenience store less than a mile from the house for any last-minute needs.
