I had an amazing stay at this beach rental house! The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of fun in the sun. The house was spotless and well-maintained, which made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The host was exceptionally responsive and made sure we had everything we needed, from check-in to check-out. We appreciated the thoughtful initial items provided, which made settling in so easy. The location couldn't have been better—just a short walk to the beach and close to great restaurants, making it so convenient to enjoy everything the area has to offer. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic beach getaway!

Only stayed 2 nights in the office season and did not do any outside activities but home was comfortable and decently stocked

We truly enjoyed our stay at Wendy’s place. Check in was easy and Wendy was super helpful with providing everything needed up front. We arrived late and had to make the bed which was a little different (not in a bad way) but it was refreshing to know the linens were clean. I’m hopeful to reserve her place again next time we are in town. :)

Our stay was wonderful. The location is good, sunset beach is absolutely beautiful. "Houses patio and rooftop grill" is very close and has the best local seafood, it is much more laid back than myrtle beach, but it is close if you want to drive there for the day, and so is historic Wilmington, so its location is ideal for many reasons. We HIGHLY recommend it, and plan on coming back asap!

Tom and Peggy’s place absolutely perfect! Responsive hosts, everything clean and tidy when I arrived. any problems I had they were quickly resolved. But in all honesty I had no problems whatsoever! I did break something in their closet by accident and they were very forgiving and as I was pressed for time I forgot to clean out the refrigerator side door. They were completely understanding. If I ever get back to that part of town again I will definitely be booking my stay here!

We always love staying here. The condo is so warm and cozy. Rob is a fantastic host. The views are amazing and the location perfect. We can’t wait to return yet again.

We loved our weekend stay here! It was within walking distance of the beach, as well as multiple restaurants and bars. It was clean and quiet, and the hosts were great about communicating with us. We would love to go back sometime!

We loved our week at Blue Turtle Cottage! It’s bright, clean and charming. Just a short walk to the beach. Leslie and Kay were lovely hosts. We’d definitely come back if our plans bring us to OKI. The king bed is super comfy!. Thanks for hosting us! 💙🐢

Really nice stay. Single room and bathroom in historic house. Short walk to Castle Street with great restaurants, coffee shops and stores. Also walkable to downtown and waterfront. Katherine a very responsive host, thought of everything. Communucated frequently and left a list of restaurant recommendations. Complimentary bottle of wine and a corkscrew. Clean, well-appointed room. Snacks. A fridge and microwave. On a main street but set back, some noise but mostly very quiet and private. Charming. Just very nice and near perfect for one person or a couple.

Our group had a wonderful stay! The house was lovely, with plenty of space and comfortable accommodations. The well stocked beach supplies closet was a highlight and had everything we needed for enjoying the beach. Connie was communicative and had lots of great suggestions. With the beach only a block away, it was the perfect vacation retreat! Thank you for being such gracious hosts!

This was our first experience staying at an Airbnb. The home was nice, spacious, well maintained and as described. There was a lovely walking trail on the road back behind the property- perfect for dogs. The host was very responsive. The only negative was that the unit shares a wall with a second unit and unfortunately there was another group staying in the second unit. They were very loud, played loud music with inappropriate language and lots of bass until late into the night/early morning. While this is no fault of the host, we have young children and it did affect our vacation experience overall. Therefore, I feel it’s worth mentioning and the fact that the unit shares a wall is something to consider.

My family and pups felt well cared for, safe and comfortable at the ocean’s shore.

We can confirm the positive reviews covering the house, location, beach items, and the host’s responsiveness. A few additional points: Nice touches: labeled all the switches, good amount of paper products, and kitchen had plenty of plates, bowls, glasses, utensils, containers, and cookware. The gas grill worked well. The mounted TV can be swiveled for good viewing from dining and kitchen areas. The front staircase is covered to allow for loading/unloading in the rain without getting wet. It is a 5-min walk to the closest beach access. We used the wagon to carry our beach chairs & stuff, so we preferred to walk to the 74th access which has a woven mat making it easier to pull the wagon. We did a combination of cooking in and eating out. Best shrimp at Haags (two blocks away) and excellent fish at Clem’s. Had fun at the free beer tasting (Thu) at Grape & Ale - friendly locals. Favorite meals: Castucci’s & Salt64 (get the NY cheesecake!). Highly recommend this house.

This is a great place to stay. The views are amazing and the balcony was nice. The home was decorated nicely and the kitchen was stocked. The bedrooms are nice size and having two bathrooms is great. We look forward to staying again.

Immaculate, nicely decorated beach vibe. Cozy and comfortable! Quiet area, end of the road. Very short walk to wide open and remote beach. Pam was easy to communicate with and timely response. Everything we needed was available. Exactly as described in ad. Cannot see ocean or water from the rental but you cannot beat the price for what is provided.

PERFECT spot for a group! So spacious, clean, beautiful, etc, etc. Host was exceptionally gracious and always available. Highly recommend and we WILL be back!

It was exactly what we needed for our buddies golf trip, a place to hangout and crash at the end of the day. This location is definitely one we would look into stay at in the future! Couple of food options right around the corner plus a grocery store basically out the front door. Only a block off the beach.

The hosts were great and the rental was great too. They were extremely generous to our family when dealing with a tropical storm. Highly recommend.

The condo was very clean, and well equipped with everything you would need and more. The extra touches of supplies such as paper towels, TP, soaps etc made it easy to get started on our stay. Love the view even with the 2 flights of stairs. We loved how close we were walking to the beach and how close several restaurants were with rooftop bars. Becky was very responsive and helpful. We were supposed to check out the day that we had tornado warnings, high winds and our route back home had fallen trees, outages etc so Becky allows us to stay an extra night since the rental was not booked for a few more days. She was extremely accommodating and we really appreciated how she handled our emergency. We will definitely be returning again. Thank you again Becky for a wonderful time we had making family memories, etc.
