Sleeps 25+PrivateDock+Hot Tub! Big Lake Lodge is a luxury lakefront retreat designed for large families and multi-generational gatherings. With 8,200 SF, 7 bedrooms, 5.5 baths, two kitchens, a kitchenette, multiple gathering areas, a private dock, hot tub, kayaks, paddleboards, and sunset lake views, the home gives large groups room to gather without feeling crowded. The lodge was completed in the summer of 2022 with many luxury amenities including a gourmet kitchen and spa-inspired bathrooms.

If outdoor adventure is on your agenda, the Big Lake Lodge has endless options. In the summer, Big Lake offers great boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, jet skiing and swimming in the warm summer sun.

Paddle boards, kayaks, fishing gear and life jackets are provided for you to use on the lake.

There is a small 9 hole golf course across the street and jet ski rental companies that will bring the jet skis to the boat launch for you for day use.

Nearby activities include hiking, bicycling, ATV rentals, horseback riding, wineries, live music, whale watching and many summer festivals.

The lodge is less than an hour drive to Mount Baker, North Cascade National Park, San Juan Island Ferries, Puget Sound, Whidbey Island, Chuckanut Drive and the Beautiful City of Bellingham.

In the winter months, the snow-covered hills and frozen lake provide a scenic winter wonderland. Stay cozy inside snuggled in front of one of our gas fireplaces and look at the beautiful lake views, or head out into the elements and enjoy a lovely day of skiing and exploring the snowy terrain. The Mount Baker Ski Area and Stevens Pass are just 90 minutes away for some extreme snow-filled fun.

Our lakefront lodge offers the perfect blend of gathering places and private spaces for groups and multigenerational families.

The Big Lake Lodge is located about 67 miles from Seattle, WA and 86 minutes from Vancouver, BC, Canada. Set on the shoreline of Big Lake, Big Lake Lodge is located less than 7 minutes from the town of Mount Vernon and about 10 minutes to the I-5 corridor.

Head over to the town of Mount Vernon or Burlington a few miles away for local and big-chain stores, amenities, restaurants, and shops. There are also a few charming wineries and breweries where you can sip on a variety of local favorites. This majestic area offers activities for everyone: outlet shopping, spas, art galleries, roller skating, movie theater, antiquing, water slides, whale watching, Skagit Valley Tulip Festival (appx April 1 to April 30) and more. Plus, the Overlook Golf Course on Big Lake is less than one minute away…just across the street!

OUTDOOR LIVING: Private lake access, 7 person hot tub, outdoor pellet grill, patio furniture (seasonal), beach chairs (seasonal), propane fire table, yard, and boat/fishing/swimming dock. Kayaks, paddle boards and life vests are provided during summer months.

INDOOR LIVING: 2 kitchens, 4 seating/lounging areas, 2 dining tables/areas + barstool/island seating, 2 85" smart TVs, board games, spa-inspired bathrooms, and gas fireplaces.

KITCHENS (one on main level, one on lower level): The main floor gourmet kitchen features a 6 burner Thermador 5 star gas range w/ double ovens, griddle, touch-less faucet, built-in Thermador luxury refrigerator and freezer microwave and nearly silent dishwasher. Great for entertaining! The lower floor kitchen features a 4 burner gas range w/ oven, full size fridge and freezer and dishwasher. Both kitchens are equipped with a coffee maker, ice maker, toaster, blender, microwave, cooking utensils, non-stick/stainless steel pots & pans, cutlery, dishware and flatware.

GENERAL: Free WIFI, air conditioning, complimentary toiletries, freshly laundered towels and bed linens, 3 washers + dryers and hair dryers.

PARKING: A maximum of 6 single passenger vehicles are allowed on the property during any/all rentals. No street-side or off-site parking is offered or permitted.

BEDROOM DETAILS:

MASTER BEDROOM: Master Bedroom - Second Floor (Main Level) with double slider, linear gas fireplace, balcony, outdoor seating, loveseat, king bed and a TV. Master on-suite bathroom features copper sinks, 4 piece smart shower, freestanding soaking tub and heated travertine floors.

BEDROOM #2: Third Floor - bedroom with expansive lake views and king bed.

BEDROOM #3: Third Floor - bedroom with expansive lake views, king bed and a TV.

BEDROOM #4: First Floor - bedroom with lake views, king bed, a private patio and a TV.

BEDROOM #5: First Floor - bedroom with queen bed, twin bed and adjoining on-suite bathroom and a TV.

BEDROOM #6: Third Floor - bedroom with two queen beds and two twin beds (trundle style) chest and a TV.

BEDROOM #7: Third Floor - bunk style room with an air hockey table, bean bag couches, giant 20 foot projector for movies and gaming, mini kitchen, TV and 8 twin beds. This room is the perfect space for kids and teens to play games and have a movie night!

Guest access
Guests have access to the full house, the yard and the dock, with the exception of the garage, a jet ski float, boat lift and a few owners closets.

Other things to note
House Rules:
1. This is a family home and we expect that you treat the home with the same respect you would give to your own. This is NOT a party house or event space. This is a quiet residential neighborhood, and we respect our neighbors. Quiet hours are from 8PM-8AM. Any EVENT or PARTY will incur a charge of $5,000 and the booking will be immediately canceled without refund.
2. You will be REQUIRED to provide names and approximate ages of all day and overnight guests that will be at the property within 48 hours of booking. Maximum day and overnight guests shall not exceed 25 without prior written approval from host.
3. A maximum of 6 single passenger vehicles are allowed on the property during any/all rentals. No street-side or off-site parking is offered or permitted. Parking is only permitted on the concrete grasscrete and gravel driveway areas NOT on the LAWN.
4. No trespassing on neighbors docks or property.
5. A signed rental agreement is required to rent this property.
6. No shoes allowed in the house.
7. No smoking allowed in the home/property. Smoking is prohibited within twenty-five feet from entrances, exits, windows that open, and ventilation intakes.
8. The house's maximum capacity is 25 guests. All guests staying at or visiting the home must be registered. No pets allowed at any time. Undeclared guests, visitors and pets will incur a charge of $1,000 for each violation and subject to immediate cancellation of your stay.
9. Waterfront comes with water dangers. If you choose to bring children, please supervise at all times and understand it is at your own risk. Life jackets are required, and use of all equipment is at your own risk. Due to the nature of this being a lakefront house with kayaks and paddleboards, it is imperative that you understand that swimming and the use of kayaks, paddleboards and all water equipment is at your own risk and that special risks may be involved with water activities. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from swimming, and use of the kayaks and paddleboards and hold owner harmless. You understand there are potential dangers that swimming, and the use of kayaks and paddleboards may present to children who are not carefully supervised, as well as the danger to any person swimming or using water equipment if a person has health risks, or if a person swims, or uses the kayaks or paddleboards while intoxicated or using any kind of drugs or medication, or while pregnant. You agree to be fully and solely responsible for any accidents your party may incur. You understand the risks discussed above and agree that you will assume all responsibility for yourself and for the consequences of those in your party. You agree to waive any claim whatsoever against owner or host(s) for accidents or claims arising from swimming, or using the kayaks and paddleboards. All Guests in my party acknowledge and agree that they have read and understand this waiver and they acknowledge that confirming this reservation constitutes a binding and enforceable contract between Guests and Host and Owner.
10. This property has several outdoor security cameras used to protect the property from potential break-ins, theft, and trespassing.
11. The jet skis, the jet ski platform and the boat lift are off-limits to rental guests. This is personal property belonging to the owner and insurance does not allow these items to be utilized by guests.

Neighborhood highlights

Centrally located between Vancouver, BC, Canada and Seattle, WA, USA, Big Lake is a rural community surrounding a 536 acre lake. The lake is known the warm water is very popular for wake surf enthusiasts, paddle boarders, and kayakers. Big Lake has also become a local favorite for bass fishing. Luckily one of the best spots is right on the dock in front of the lodge.

It is only a few minute drive to the world renowned Skagit Valley Tulip Festival which happens from April 1-30 annually.

Big Lake is one of Skagit County’s most desirable lake communities, known for its warm waters, welcoming atmosphere, and beautiful waterfront homes. The neighborhood is quiet and family-oriented, making it ideal for guests traveling with children or multiple generations.
