Waterfront vacation rentals in Skagit County

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Beach House! The house is well stocked and had everything we needed. Being right on the water was truly magical. The kitchen is massive and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and we appreciated all the thoughtful touches like throw blankets and having ample towels for everyone. Great place for a large family or group!

The place was peaceful, beautifully decorated, the view breathtaking. Everything you needed was there. At times we didnt want to leave, and explore. It felt like home!

We had a wonderful weekend celebrating my sister’s 50th birthday with all of our kids. There was plenty of room for all of us and we enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit and the kayaks. The Soundsystem and TV was a little complicated. We discovered some stuff was unplugged but eventually figured it out. There is a few things that could’ve been a little cleaner like the hot tub and kitchenware, but overall it was cozy and comfortable and really cute and they even let me check in early, which gave me time to throw some more chlorine in the hot tub before the rest of the family arrived. We had a great stay and would definitely rent it again.

Wonderful view, cozy and clean, nice size kitchen if you choose to cook and eat in, and relaxing in the hot tub, overlooking white caps dancing in the breeze, mist-ladened trees, and watching eagles fly by was amazing. Fair Warning: If you choose to attempt the jigsaw puzzle with evergreens, it is not as simple as it appears. Prepare to be frustrated as almost every piece appears to fit even when incorrectly placed. But I digress - if you want a nice place to stay that's about as close as you can get to Deception Pass, this is an excellent choice!

Julie and Peter's Sunset Beach was a gem and so where Julie and Peter. As a super host, I have high expectations of hosts that we choose for our own Airbnb experiences and Juile and Peter exceeded those expectations. From start to finish (and even after check out) Julie and Peter were wonderful - they communicated with us and helped us feel "at home". We were especially grateful to them because we arrived in Whidbey Island during a windstorm that knocked out power to the entire Island for an entire day. Julie and Peter checked in on us and worked with us to come up with potential solutions in case the power didn't come on. They were even gracious enough to accomodate us in another one of their nearby rentals. WOW is all I can say. Sweet, wonderful hosts. As for the place itself, it was perfect and cozy. The crashing waves make for the most serene background noise to fall asleep to. 150% recommend Julie and Peter's place. Bravo!

We had a fantastic stay at this charming boathouse on Cornet Bay. The space was incredibly efficient, using every inch without feeling cramped. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring we woke up well-rested each morning. The kitchen was impressively well-supplied with everything we needed to cook meals during our stay, which made it feel like a home away from home. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and attentive, making the experience more enjoyable. Their friendly hospitality stood out, and they were happy to provide recommendations for exploring the local area. Waking up to the serene bay views from the water was a true highlight. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend this cozy retreat for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

What a fabulous place to stay for our 40th wedding anniversary on Nov 3-5, 2024. The outdoor area has many welcoming amenities - nice landscaping, fire pit, Adirondack chairs and right on the beach. Views are spectacular, no matter the weather. The day we arrived it was lovely weather. Met a nice family walking the beach; the next full day was one of our first giant windstorms of the season. I jokingly asked Dianne to turn off the rain. She not only accommodated me, but provided a rainbow from end to end over the water and island. PERFECT for our elderly dog and oh, so dog friendly, which means so much to Washington dog parents. It was nice to have Domino lolling on the comfy couch alongside me, without feeling like I was breaking the rules! The day of our departure on Nov. 5, Dianne asked if we couldn’t stay another couple nights! Such a warm feeling to have that invitation. Sadly had to work the next day, but planning to book for at least 5 days this spring or early next fall.

Ginny and Gary's place was lovely. We were there for a very quick trip, but immediately agreed we'd like to come back for longer. The space was surprisingly high, the kitchen was beautiful, and the views were amazing! They were very clear and nice to communicate with as well!
