This memorable place is anything but ordinary. Located in the quaint countryside village of Thorpe Market, on the grounds of a Grade 2 listed period property. This is a beautifully renovated and thoughtfully converted tiny escape: Bensley Snug. They say all good things come in small packages and that is exactly what you get with this property. Relax in this romantic setting, meander along country lanes, dip your toes in the sea and dine at the best sea-food restaurants around. Idilic bliss!
The space
This small but perfect escape provides everything you need to unwind, relax and rejuvenate. Upon arrival park in your dedicated space, while taking in the views of the stunning 1830's period flint-built house. Follow the country garden path to your private entrance gate, opening onto your private paradise. Outside dinning with bbq, fire pit and seating area, waiting for you to arrive. Double low doors open onto the lounge, complete with leather sofa and smart tv. Tucked away at the rear is the small country kitchenette, with fridge and combination oven microwave. The original beams and flint wall complete the country rustic feel.
A low oak door opens into the double bedroom. Solid oak furniture and high quality bedding gives the luxury your escape deserves. A study nook is tucked away, supported by reliable fast wifi, to allow working if required. A small shower and toilet room is just the right size to refresh you ready for the day to come.
Dogs more than welcome, with a fully enclosed garden for them to explore while keeping safe. Dog essentials provided (bowls, blankets, towels and drying mat) but please bring your own dog bed. ******Unfortunately dogs cannot be left unattended at the accommodation********
Guest access
Guest will have access to a private garden, fence- enclosed with seating areas, fire pit and bbq. Private lounge and kitchenette. Private bedroom, study area and shower room.
Other things to note
The door thresholds are very low (1.58m) and require guests to bend to enter both the front doorway and the doorway between the bedroom and lounge. There is also a step up to enter the doorway and a raised threshold between the bedroom and living area.
Parking for one car only. No vans or minibuses due to size of drive.
No dogs to be left unattended at the property.
Ev type 2 charger (subject to avalibility) for car charging over night (12am-7am), £20 per night additional charge, paid during stay. Booking of ev charger required, please message to enquire around availability and to book the dates required for the charger.
Charcoal BBQ and fire pit set up for use on arrival (April - September, can be available on request over winter). Additional charcoal and wood can be supplied for an additional cost.
*Please note during times of extreme dry weather the fire pit will not be available due to the fire risk.
Netflix and Disney Plus included at the property.
