Welcome! Our cozy, Benedictine College-themed 2BR/1BA home. It’s great for visitors to the college or our charming town. While the floors and kitchen aren't perfect (no granite or stainless steel here), you’ll love the fresh, new furnishings and Benedictine decor. Our well-equipped kitchen has everything you need, and an affordable stay for those who don’t need luxury but value comfort. The choice for budget-conscious travelers! New Deck & Grill! Privacy Fence in April 2025. Outdoor Games.
The space
Escape to this fully remodeled 2-bedroom home, with its imperfections in the floor and slightly dated appliances the rest is 100% new and all 100% working perfectly. If not we would replace it with the most up to date immediately. Enjoy a fully stocked kitchen, a beautiful shower bath combo, and well appointed queen and king bedroom for a peaceful night's sleep. Relax in the cozy dining area with cozy table and mixology area (just bring your mixes) unwind in the spacious living room with new comfy sofa and second love seat. Step outside to a front porch with a charming set of outdoor chairs retreat to the rear yard for Bocci, surrounded by century-old trees offering shade and serenity. Perfect for a relaxing getaway, visiting Benedictine College or exploring the nearby attractions.

Other things to note
This home is designed all around the Benedictine College theme and we tried not to be ultra religious in nature however with the college being Catholic there are a few Catholic items. We did try to limit this to College Theme more than Christian or Catholic. This may be good for some and bad for some and hopefully we hit this just right. We have taken care to let you know that the floor are NOT PERFECT. No the house is not falling down, and yes the foundation was fixed however this old house had to have some big time fixes :). We have had many many people work to make this imperfectly perfect house a good lil airbnb and hope that it will be a quality place for your discerning $.

Like much of historic America, there could be some “vintage” surprises, like lead paint, asbestos, or even a touch of radon? We don't know of any of these; however, in this time of craziness now a disclaimer has to be everywhere.... And as science evolves, everyday stuff like plastic, carpets, or even LVP flooring might get their moment in the spotlight. We keep things as cozy and safe as possible, but just know a little character—and mystery—comes with Atchison!

Life in Atchison is just a little slower paced. You'll find the beautiful college. Small business in the area and even a little Antiquing. about a 15 minute drive from Weston and 45 minutes to Kansas City. Not to far from everything and just far enough away to be out of the busy life.
