Come relax in our newly renovated mid-century modern beach bungalow, Barbee Mod! Our retro ranch is a 3 bed, 1 bath + an outdoor shower that is centrally located - just a 3-minute walk from public beach access, the pier, and popular restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. We're excited to have you!

The space
Barbee Mod is located on the best street on the island, in a relaxing neighborhood, surrounded by live Oak trees and a view of the ocean from the front yard.

Our place is recently renovated, including all brand new appliances, and features an open floor plan with ample seating for relaxing and conversing with friends and family. Each of our 3 bedrooms are full of color with plenty of space and storage for your things. We pride ourselves on our comfortable beds so a great night's sleep is guaranteed. Our front yard transports you to Palm Springs and is ideal for playing games and hanging out, plus there is a spacious outdoor shower in the back.

We're a short walk to the beach, the pier, and OKI’s most popular restaurants, like Koko Cabana, Shagger Jack’s and Island Jo’s. Check out our Guidebook for all of our local recommendations!

Pack light as we provide beach gear for you to use, including a wagon and beach chairs, as well as baby gear, like a Pack n Play and portable highchair, upon request.

The space is all yours—make yourself at home and enjoy every bit of it!

While the back building is used for storage and not accessible to guests, you’re more than welcome to enjoy the backyard! You’ll find a storage box with beach gear and a roomy outdoor shower—perfect after a day in the sun. We also designed the house so you can soak in the front yard vibes (and the view!) to the fullest.

We provide bedding, bath towels, dish soap, dishwasher pods and laundry pods. Please bring your own personal toiletries and beach towels!
