While we have a strict 3-night minimum for weekend stays, we are sometimes able to accommodate single or two-night stays on weekdays - just ask!
*Lanscaping note: This is not just an urban oasis for us humans, but also something of a refuge for the wildlife as the ever-growing city encroaches on us. This means that at times, we allow the fields to go wild to allow wildflowers to grow and to provide food and habitat for all the animals and insects. You are likely to see cardinals, finches, hawks, deer, foxes, butterflies, moths, bees, and more! During these periods, the property can look less maintained than many are used to. That being said, we do keep the yards in the immediate vicinity of the house and various footpaths well-maintained so our guests may enjoy the outdoors. In this way we strive to peacefully coexist with the nature that surrounds us and provide our guests with a unique experience and a new perspective on our relationship with the earth. You are welcome to walk around and enjoy the property, but please do not go through any gates or fences or enter any structures other than your rental! Feel free to walk around and enjoy the beautiful nature, just be aware that you are on a ranch, and there is wildlife! Do not stray far from the house at night as you could startle a deer or fox or skunk! Also, there are beehives at the back of the property. They are highly visible; the bees are very nonaggressive but it’s best to give them space.

Noon checkout time is the latest possible time our guests may depart without incurring a fee. Please note that failure to depart on time will result in additional charges. Please respect the cleaning team and fellow guests by communicating departure time and leaving the house in good condition!

Booking Ages 25+. Please do not book instantly if you are under 25. Reach out and we may be able to make an exception. Children and teens are welcome with relatives over 25.

NO GLITTER/CONFETTI! Sorry, but it's a nightmare to clean! You will incur a $25 cleaning fee if we find any indoors. PAPER confetti is allowed OUTDOORS ONLY and must be cleaned up.
No pets on furniture, and please clean up after your pet. We provide poop bags and other cleaning supplies. Please alert us to any damage done by pets asap so we can address it before our next guest!
There is a possibility of noise in the neighborhood - occasionally neighbors have parties with loud music or there are bands rehearsing in the area. Most are respectful of local sound ordinances and quiet hours and the house is not close to neighbors.
This is a property on some acreage, so you will see wildlife and insects/arachnids around. While we do employ regular pest control services, there is a chance that bugs will occasionally make it into the unit, especially when it is very dry/hot or rainy.
